Bakers refused to make pro-Trump birthday cake for 9-year-old boy: Report

A boy whose letter to President Trump made national headlines last month reportedly wanted a pro-Trump cake for his birthday party, but his mother was unable to find a baker willing to fulfill the order.

At the July 26 White House press briefing, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read a letter from a boy named Dylan who said Mr. Trump was his favorite president. When she later released the letter publicly, the boy’s last name was blacked out. The only identifying clue was that everyone called him “Pickle.”

The media scrambled to verify the letter’s authenticity, and the next day, The Washington Post confirmed it was sent by 9-year-old Dylan Harbin of California.

The Post reported that, when Dylan asked for a “Donald Trump cake” for his birthday, his mother “made him one herself, because she couldn’t find a bakery willing and able to do it.”

There are always work arounds. Mom figured it out.

    • Heh;) I would like the name of that bakery to be made known

If a bakery has to make a gay pride cake then the other ones should have to make a pro trump one.

but rules are gor conservatives only.

” The media scrambled to verify the letter’s authenticity, ”

Hmmmmm….so why didn’t they scramble to verify Obama’s background because I didn’t see one person come forward to say they were in Obama’s class in school or lived next to him .
How the hell can Obama go though over 45 years and not make contact with even 1 person in school or at a job?????

Obama was from central casting with a pretty shaky stuck together “legend”.

I took Printing and Type-setting in the early 1970’s and when I saw Obama’s Birth record which may be real……. but that document was fake because I saw several major errors where it had to be about 3 different typewriters and 2 typists .
The FBI has experts that know how to ID ransom Letters and death threat letters to link it to a typewriter later on.
In around 1960 there would have been a normal Ribbon typewriter that was manual while a small Hospital in Hawaii would not have a big maternity unit with full time Typists and a slew of machines .
I realize that a pre-birth stage has a form partially filled in to follow the Mother. But it would be normal to use the same Typewriter to insert the card and complete it once the baby is born.
When a ribbon gets old the letter become faint as the ink wears out because when it reaches the end you reveres the reels to run it back the other way.
The ribbon fibers start to get stuck in the characters that had closed areas like the A,R,D, and most lower case ones like a,b ,d,e,g,o and p. This also is where ink collects with the fluff if you don’t clean the typewriter when you put a new ribbon on it.

Obama’s birth document has overt errors based on my experience
where you need to use a brush to clean the Letters that get clogged.
The other error I saw was the Baseline during typing where one character is below it but then above. Someone would have to stop and pull the card and then put back in but not perfectly aligned because the roller was moved where the baseline changed.

I had only questioned the document that was shown as being fabricated and not that he wasn’t born in Hawaii.
This whole issue could have been solves if the person in hawaii used their video phone to record pulling the file and scanning it to DC where it came out right after it was went and they showed the document up close.

If any store in Crazyfornia had offered to bake the cake, it would have been somewhat risky to consume any of it.

Wait, how come they did not sue the baker?

Damn it, I want to see some left wing baker get sued.
