WSJ: Use Immigration To Keep Wages Down

President Donald Trump should abandon his merit immigration reform and simply let employers import cheap workers to ensure profitability, the Wall Street Journal recommends.

They’re not even trying to hide their agenda any longer.

OK, but provided they sing Ol’ Man River really well.

Fox News had a related story the other day about construction in Texas. The immigration crackdown has reduced the cheap labor pool and builders are having to increase the wages they pay out … adding as much as 30% to the labor content of a new home. They make this out as a bad thing that is going to hurt homeowners … TOO BAD! This data proves that unrestrained wage-slave immigration has been hurting wages for workers and now we know by how much … about 30%. Let he market work the way it should to adjust wages and prices freely. I predict that the only industry that will be hurt in the long run are the self-storage units for the too much crap that people buy … if your house costs more for the workers to have a living wage, yes you may not be able to afford all of the crap … and needing to put it in a self-storage unit shows you really didn’t need it anyway.

  • As I’ve said before, this was about using people for cheap (or slave) labour.

There’s white liberal compassion for you.

This wasn’t just liberals, but supposedly all-American conservatives pushing this nonsense to via organizations like the Chamber of Commerce.

      • It’s disgusting.

If these guys had any shame, they might feel it.

    Wage chiselers. Bloodsuckers. Traitors.

    The rot is deep.

The Wall Street Journal has been pushing this for at least 40 years, but back then they used to be slightly more discreet, by saying immigration should be used to “prevent wage inflation”.

Yes, the WSJ‘s agenda since ever I’ve been reading them online. You know, until pay-wall and I don’t read them anymore. Even the few real conservatives there like the old “Best of the Web” guy were fully in favour of uncontrolled immigration.

Strangely this is the position of Reason magazine as well

Croyny capitalists and Western marxists both want unrestricted immigration. For the crony capitalists it means cheap labour and for the Western marxists it means population replacement in order to destroy the country. On the surface they seem to be bad bed partners, but looking deeper not so much so. Croyny capitalists being all about greed care nothing about their country’s wellbeing or their fellow citizens and Western marxists are the same for diffferent reasons.

I think the cats have had enough of us humans and it’s time we were gone . The cat food isn’t that good any more, the toys are cheap and over priced , rent so high the apartments are getting smaller for them , dogs are now popular while Video games is time away from spoiling them .

That photo of fluffy with TNT does not look good for my future since my neighbours have cats and Toronto is getting crowded.
