Sessions announces DOJ crackdown on leaks: ‘We are taking a stand’

The Justice Department has tripled the number of active leak investigations and dedicated new resources to battling unauthorized disclosures of classified information, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Friday.

Efforts to address the “staggering number of leaks” include a new unit at the FBI dedicated to overseeing leak probes as well as a review of the DOJ’s current policies affecting subpoenas of the media, the attorney general said.

“We are taking a stand. This culture of leaking must stop,” Mr. Sessions said.

I put this comment up on March 28, 2017 regarding Attorney General Sessions’ “tough talk” on sanctuary cities. Sad I have to repost verbatim 4 months later about White House leaks.

“Stop talking about it and giving warnings about a looming, impending, soon to be , almost, we’re not kidding, imminent crackdown, possibly, and just fucking do it!”

I feel that he will get to this once he completes his crackdown on drug gangs.
