Why Can’t Justin Trudeau Be Our President? Here’s Why!

I should really stop asking myself what bit of lunacy is coming next from the left.

Last week, the pro cannabis, socialism is really cool, hipster rag sheet, Rolling Stone published an article with the headline, ‘Why can’t Justin Trudeau be our President?” The writer, Stephen Rodrick, called Trudeau, ‘the free world’s best hope.’

Russia wins tank biathlon

Every summer, Russia holds the International Tank Biathlon where international teams compete in races for speed, accuracy and endurance. It’s a lot like Olympic track events….only with tanks.

Russia has claimed first prize for both accuracy and speed with some of Russia’s newest tank models on display in full force.

ABC News Says Hillary Lost So She Shouldn’t Be Investigated

The Senate Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions this past week asking for an investigation of a number of Democrats including Hillary Clinton. ABC News says Hillary lost the election and, therefore, should not be investigated.

That must be a new legal guideline. If they lose, they get away with whatever they might have done wrong?

Scottish National Gallery Stands By Video Calling Whites ‘Inbred Spawn Soon To Die Out’

The video features a rapper staring at portraits of former Scottish Kings like James III and distinguished architects like Sir William Bruce and calling them “dead, random white dudes” and proclaiming “they are a gravestone that a dog pisses against.”

The Scottish National Gallery pulled the video without explanation earlier this morning. This afternoon, they came out and said it was temporarily pulled at the band’s request and will be reinstated “imminently.”

Preschools are rife with ‘heteronormativity,’ prof claims

A University of Michigan instructor recently claimed that preschool classrooms are rife with “heteronormativity” that perpetuates “inequalities related to gender.”

Heidi M. Gansen, a Ph.D. student who teaches sociology at UMich, advanced these claims in a July 14 article that examines the prevalence of “heteronormativity” in a set of nine Michigan preschool classrooms she visited.

‘It’s a start:’ Council approves $2M boost for 10 struggling arts groups

On Monday, council voted 13-2 in favour of dipping into the city’s rainy-day fund to give $2 million in bridge funding to help the 10 arts organizations stay afloat amid declining donations and corporate sponsorships.

“Really, the bridge funding is about getting people through this while we think about whether we need to increase the funding in the long-term,” said Mayor Naheed Nenshi.

Scandal: Australian Bureau of Meteorology caught erasing cold temperatures

Amazing, the power of the media. Suddenly, the Bureau of Meteorology needs to replace equipment and answer questions and set up an internal inquiry. But they’ve had weeks of warning. Lance Pidgeon and Jennifer Marohasy have been watching the automatic weather stations record very cold temperatures, and then astonished when those same readings either got entered into our national raw database as warmer, or simply disappeared. The BOM apparently has a filter set so that super cold temperatures need to be manually checked. Yet the filter is set so high, in Thredbo’s case, nearly five whole degrees warmer than temperatures already recorded.

Cities shouldn’t bail out failing art groups and whatnot. Maybe it has a lot do with artists alienating their patrons and producing stuff no one absolutely no one cares for. And won’t spend their beer money on.

Tank Biiatlon is a nice idea but with no western competitors it’s meaningless.

    • andycanuck

Yes,first thing I noticed was no list of participating nations.

And the U.S. and Canada hold a similar event every year; I wouldn’t be surprised that there’s a Nato one too.

IMO it is far more interesting than soccer, football or basketball.

I saw one of the US-Canada ones on IIRC Discovery Channel. Yeah, pretty cool.

Ah, yes. It was Truth, Duty, Valour and probably that very episode. (Outdoor Life Network?)

And Israel will never enter its principal battle tanks because of classified gear on board, such as an electronic shield against anti-tank missiles.

Which makes any US Jeep superior to all Russian battle tanks.

Man, 51, is arrested over the murder of 14-year-old schoolgirl Charlene Downes after police offer £100,000 reward to find killer who ‘chopped her body up for kebab meat at takeaway’ 14 years ago.
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4749600/Man-51-arrested-murder-missing-schoolgirl.html
The girl disappeared in 2003 but her family wasn’t told that police had opened a murder inquiry until 2006.
A 2007 murder trial collapsed because of police errors. Funny Boyz kebab worker Ilyad Albattikhi was acquitted of Charlene’s murder and his co-defendant Mohammed Reveshi was acquitted of helping dispose of her body.
A planned retrial in 2008 was dropped due to lack of evidence and forensic blunders. The two men were paid almost £250,000 each in compensation. Covert recordings in which someone was apparently heard to say Charlene’s body had ‘gone into kebabs’ were later found to be flawed due to their handling.
Crucial CCTV footage of the girl’s last movements sat in police archives for 12 years to be discovered by a cold case team in 2016 and released for the first time.

A Google search of the word “normativity” came up with this definition: In philosophy, normative statements make claims about how things should or ought to be, how to value them, which things are good or bad, and which actions are right or wrong.

When coupled with the prefix hetero, the article is saying preschools are allowing boys to be boys and girls to be girls. Imagine that.

I fail to see the issue.

    • PaulW

The issue is that according to progressives’ weird worldlview biological girls are not really girls but are wanna be boys who are just being pressured to think they’re girls; and similarly, boys are really girls in disguise who simply need some encouragement from society in order to come out and bloom. It’s a mad, mad world ….

      • tom_billesley

So every girl needs to find a boy organ donor, so to speak? However, we’d then be back to a binary configuration.

The Toronto Star is excited this morning that one of the leftist judges on the Supreme Court, has overruled one of her leftist fellow judges, and has granted all sorts of homosexual groups to take part in the case of the evil Christian university, that doesn’t promote gay sex. Yes Trinity Western University is in big trouble now. And some religious groups have been refused by the judge to take part.
