    The key here is to only help others who show convincing willingness to help themselves. Over the last 50 years, we have been saddled with unworthy allies and that has to stop. (Afghanistan and Iraq both fall into this category.)

    Trump didn’t campaign on a “middle of the road” approach. He campaigned on a non-interventionist foreign policy. Little by little the neocons are edging him towards more interventionist wars.
