Liberals, stop the pearl-clutching

It’s time the Liberals ended their pearl-clutching about Conservatives criticizing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s $10.5 million deal with Omar Khadr in the U.S. media.

This based on allegations by Liberals like Trudeau Principal Secretary Gerald Butts and Climate Change Minister Catherine McKenna.

They argue that by appearing in American media criticizing the Trudeau/Khadr settlement, Conservative MPs like Peter Kent (Wall Street Journal) and Michelle Rempel (Fox News) risk undermining Canada’s NAFTA negotiations with the U.S.

If I recall the libs and dippers went down to sabotage both the Keystone XL and the UN security council bid when the Conservatives were in power. So they should shut the fuck up.

    • Alain

Yes they did and that was not the only time they rushed down to the US to run down PM Harper and the government.

  • Cat-astrophe

They should have considered the side effects before they gave the ‘boy’ soldier 10.5 million.

  • Cat-astrophe

None of this will effect the hero worship this boy has sorrounding him in the media. He WILL win the next one or two elections.
The next one is in the bag. The dime bag that is.

    • irishrus

      don’t think so

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Your popular media is in the bag for Trudeau as much as they were here for the Democrat Party but your system cannot generate a Trump that can cut through it.
Anyone that runs against the Justin Trudeau will be demonised as Hitler.

      • Cat-astrophe

That is why i said sorry.
        Wishful thinking to think otherwise.
You may have, but I lived through the first Trudeau as a voter in the 70’s Papa said publicly “do the unpopular stuff first, then the popular stuff last just before the election and the Canadian voter is too stupid to remember the real rotten stuff.”
He damaged Canada a LOT with that methodology, so do not think for one second the boy does not know at least that much.
So, the next election is in the dime bag.
Drunk_by_Noon gets it, and it hurts none the less.

Junior is going to screw Canada’s relation with the United States and hopefully there is no war, because I am sure the US will say screw us and I don’t blame them a bit.

  • irishrus

I hope they affect NAFTA Gas is at its lowest price in 6 years in the States and steadily climbing in Canada

I want the free market to dictate consumer prices in Canada like hydro wood and dairy for instance and not make special interest proletariat groups filthy rich not to mention Bomb… a fucking deer and the faux environmental industry and establishment for political party and leader political votes.

Take a strip of Turdeau and flush it.

  • RottyLover

trudope doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell of besting President Trump in nafta negotiations.

  • Clausewitz

Does anyone here think Trudeau and his Homo’s. errrrr Hommies, will give a shit about Canada during these NAFTA negotiations? When you are given your job because of Quotas as opposed to competence, I have no hope of a success in these talks.

  • Tooth&Claw

Trudeau can’t negotiate his way out of a paper bag. Snowboard instructor, part time drama teacher, and bouncer doesn’t give one those sorts of skills.

If you have an interest in what US “interests” have been doing north of 49, for decades, then sit down, open a bottle of wine or two & get an informed expose of the people & money (US origins as well as CDN) that get to interfere in our sovereignty & legal business operations, tax free:

Our PM recently ended the witch hunt, or as he said “political harassment” of CRA audits of charitable entities operating in Canada & from the US, initiated (too late in the game from my POV) on their political activities vs their charitable activities.

Mr Trudeau doth protest too much. The incestuous relations that currently exist between this .gov & the enviro industry & their positions in this .gov should be cause for a considerable concern to industry & taxpayers alike.

Just who is running this country?

  • Bataviawillem

How can they complain about the truth coming out about the 10.5 mil. are they not proud of the arrangement they made?
They were for sure selling it to the Canadians like it was caviar.

The CBC is doing a good job with the propaganda for Liberals. The facebook comments but Justin fans keep insisting that it’s Harper fault because he didn’t respect the Charter Of Right.
One person said that ti was the SCOC that gave Omar the money , not Justin.

These people are among the 39% that voted for him just because of his promise to legalize Pot. More proof that the Schools are pumping out moron that function at a grade 8 level but have a grade 12 Diploma.

Who the hell would want to start a Business in Toronto with its Diversity quota as you see how you are stuck with an idiot once hired because you can fire them .

Toronto will be our version of Detroit .

What’s really odd about the Khadr pay out is that Maher Arar got back to canada and had first filed a $25 million Lawsuit against Jordan because that’s what he told the CBC in 2003 where he was tortured .

But when it was tossed out by the Judge ruling that Canadian do NOT have their Charter Rights travel with them outside of canada . That’s when CAIR coached the Arar’s to sue canada for $400,000,000.00 .

So which one is it. Arar was tortured in Jordan while Omar chose to wage war and be captured in Afghanistan and sent to GITMO in Cuba.
How the hell did both get over $10 million when a Judge ruled that Arar’s Charter Rights didn’t apply outside Canada and that Jordan didn’t have to obey Canada Laws.
GITMO is owned by Cuba and goes back to the 1905 Platte Amendment when Spain pulled out. The USA voted to have a Navy base there to deter Spain from returning one day to reclaim it. GITMO was leased for about $400.00 a year but over time it was $400 a month and today is $4000.00 a Month.

In Omar’s case. Justin has now set an example as did the SCOC because if you lease your home to a drug dealer or for a Grow-Op . The RCMP or any Police can’t go after you as the owner of the Home being complicit thanks to the 9 SCOC judges that absolved Cuba as the owners of the GITMO Base.

The RCMP will now have to obey the KHADR Ruling that any torture or illegal activity going on inside and on property owned by a 3rd party can now be sued or charged for aiding and abetting said crimes .
Where am I wrong? Cuba still owns GITMO and gets $4000.00 a month unless they exercise the option to take it back and kick out the US staff.
Arar allege torture on Jordanian land and then Syrian land but a Judge said that Charter Rights are not attacked to canadians outside Canada when they travel.

Omar should be going after Cuba but the Trudeau’s love the Communist nations and its Dictators .
