Family of brothers killed in Syria had been under police watch for years

Two teenage brothers killed while fighting in war-torn Syria were radicalised right under the noses of police and social services, according to a damning report.

Their entire family had been monitored for years, but police and social workers in Brighton, East Sussex, failed to identify tell-tale signs of radicalisation.

When an elder brother Amer Deghayes fled to go on jihad, authorities failed to stop his two younger siblings.

“authorities failed to stop his two younger siblings”

    a. We should care that they got killed in Syria because? Maybe more of these losers should be encouraged to go there.
    b. Their uncle was at Guantanamo. I guess the apple doesn’t fall to far from the tree.

    • Its classic good news/ bad news. They were radicalized and the blind authorities were clueless. That was bad.
But seriously, their father got them up daily at 4:30 AM to study the Koran. What else would you expect? This is not truly radicalization. Its the fruit of a good muslim education. Its all in the book. This is Islam: a bad book embedded in a brutal culture and exposed to a western world that is (at least in its classical form) embarrassingly richer, smarter and more positive in all respects.

    There is no “radicalization”.

They were only faithful followers of what is prescribed by Islam.

As long as the Koran, Sira and Hadiths are believed, death will follow.

When i hear Liberals in canada claim that Jihadists are self-radicalized ….i get out my decoder-ring and see that it means ” They could read ” .
If 99% of the muslims are peaceful…. they why can’t just 1 muslim give me the list of islamic nation they live in. There are 13 that sanction murdering gays, 16 ban jews , a few allow child brides and stoning women.

Perhaps the hand holders and hand wringers would have more success with a larger budget and more muslim hires.

The family will no doubt be suing police and social services for failing to stop the two jihadis from going to Syria.

Britain is gone. Brexit is the last gasp of a people historically known as ‘The English’.
