Liberals’ legacy of waste

Ontario wasted more than a $1 billion worth of energy in 2016.

The Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) recently calculated that almost eight terawatt-hours of clean energy was dumped from the grid last year. That’s enough energy to power almost 1 million homes for a year.

The amount wasted last year was shockingly 58% more than what was dumped in 2015.

This is inevitable if you use wind generated power as the inevitable fluctuations from 0% to 100%+ (at which time it turns back into 0% as it has to shut down) per windmill means that at some times you will have power that must be disputed, unused or sold off at a loss. The more you rely on wind power, the worse the problem gets. Solar power has similar problems, but is marginally more reliable.

    This was not a waste.

Think about all the companies owned by or employing Liberals who made millions off of this.

    • There’s that.

I am sure former Liberal Party of Canada president, Mike Crawley needs even more millions out of Ontario tax payers due to “green energy” subsidies for power we don’t need that we sell at a huge loss to others, (at least in his own mind).

But we have that great rubber duck, and wonderful homosexual parades. What more do we need?

And the really sad, depressing thing? Most Ontarians don’t know or care. They just don’t care ….

It’s kind of like throwing out good food (leftover on the buffet or on or near its “best before” date) instead of feeding the homeless and the needy.
