‘Why Do You Give Islam a Free Pass?’ Why Atheist Richard Dawkins Got Booted from Berkeley

I admit my bias;)

The University of California Berkeley is back at the center of controversy in another battle over free speech, but this time there’s a surprising twist of events.

A Berkeley radio station has canceled an August 9 speaking engagement with atheist author Richard Dawkins, according to Berkeleyside.

In recent months, the liberal university has generated widespread outrage for canceling speakers with conservative views, like Milo Yiannopoulos, Ann Coulter, and Ben Shapiro.

But this latest cancellation targets a well-known liberal.

What’s permissible for liberals continues to grow narrower particular where islam is involved.

    • I can’t shed a tear for that narrow-minded bigot known as Dawkins. He is still a part of the system that now punishes him.

Just another guy who helped break all the eggs only to discover he’s not going to get any of the omelet.

Why because Berkeley is a Nazi book burning type university of the 1930’s. If any jews send your kids there shame on you as it signals your support of Merkel’s 4th reich.

Poor Richard, he’s not narrow minded enough to be one of the cool kids anymore. I don’t feel a bit sorry for the prick.

While I certainly do not share Dawkins’ views on most things, he is at least correct about Islam. I strongly disagree with atheism, but if there is free speech then he has the right to express his views. I am sick and tired of these little jumped-up totalitarians who think only they can decide who speaks and who does not.

Dawkins says the same offensive obnoxious things about Christians too. But one cares about that

Good for him for calling out the double standards of the Left. It just goes to show that to the Left, “atheist” is a dog whistle for anti-Christian.

Poor Dickie Dawkins. The atheist movement was never really about atheism. It was all about bashing Christianity while using the fig leaf of ‘Love-of-Secularism’ as cover for what were/are vulgar, bigoted, anti-Christian sentiments. And those sentiments would normally get you charged with *hate* speech had you expressed them about any other religion, particularly Islam.

Almost all atheist websites promote a mixture of animosity towards Western civilization and White people ( White males in particular) coupled with hefty doses anti-Christian rhetoric.

That they say practically nothing at all about the spread of Islam, and indeed see criticism of it as bigotry, tells you all you need to know about their ‘atheism’.
