DEA: $1M in pot smuggled into U.S. via Mexican-made Ford Fusions

The cars were manufactured at a Ford plant in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, and then were shipped to a dealership in Ohio, where the marijuana was found, DEA agent Silverio Balzano said.

Officials believe drug smugglers made some kind of mix-up to allow large quantities of marijuana to get lost. Approximately 32 pounds of marijuana was found in 15 Ford Fusions, officials said.

That sounds like fair trade: our jobs for their marijuana.

Does the Fusion dashboard have a bong holder as standard equipment?

Smuggling the drugs Americans won’t smuggle.

At least in the French Connection movie the Lincoln had the rocker panel cavity split open to put the drugs in and spot-weld closed to look like the factory joint.
You buy the car, get the drugs and then sell the car.

I wouldn’t be shocked if TTC Operators are mules that use their Uniform as a shield to transport drugs on the Subway trains or a Bus because Public transit caters to the densely populated welfare housing while the TTC has a Diversity policy.
Pretty tempting when some Operators reach a Transfer Point to switch vehicles for the 2nd Route and then return to switch back and finish their Shift at the starting spot.
A Subway Operator could star at 6:01 am at Kipling to head East to Kennedy while the Kennedy trains heads West to Kipling.
Finch Station is a starting point and perfect for getting drug to key points near a Station. Plus the Night Crews and Garbage Trains freely move through the system and btw , are covered by the Railway Act which is why even the Streetcar Operators like the job because accidents don’t affect the Auto License record as they do for Bus operators.

The fact that the ATU had to be dragged kicking and screaming over the Random drug tests makes me believe that drug use is high or employees are exposed to drug users.
I’ve noticed how TTC employees are now starting look like the same violent punks the Cops used to go after , but now in the last 2 years some of the Cops i see look like them as well . The NEW Canada because it’s 2017 .
