Abbas: Shut Up or I will Arrest You!

Critics say the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) Cyber Crime Law, which permits the imprisonment of Palestinians for “liking” or sharing published material on the internet, paves the way for the emergence of a “police state” in PA-controlled territories in the West Bank. They also argue that the law aims to silence criticism of Abbas and the PA leadership.

Good. Let it become a totalitarian dictatorship. It can only speed along their membership in the EU and then however many gazillion of them claim to live there can go to Europe.

“… paves the way for the emergence of a “police state””

The Palestinian Authority was always a police state. That’s what you get when you allow a territory to be run by a terrorist organization.

After all Abbas is halfway into his thirteenth year of his four year term.

What shows that most Western governments know that however bad things are in the’ West Bank’, they could be worse, and would probably become worse if elections were held. It’s very likely that Hamas would win an election here as they did in Gaza, so nobody seems keen to pressure Abbas to hold another election.

That’s what neuron bombs were created to solve.

Now that Trump has replaced Obama, the PA has become a regional nuisance that generates much lip service and cash from stupid, bigoted diplomats from outside the area.

Nothing productive to do in PA controlled areas except to breed fanatical jihadists and complain they don’t have their own country while refusing to be given one that doesn’t have the land of Israel as part of it. And the West colludes in this delusional attitude and sends more money for negative productivity and overpopulation.

See they are improving and striving to be just like the EU or Britain with their new Internet laws: if anything they might be slightly ahead. /sarc
