2 Pastors Now Blame Coca Cola As ‘Blacks Targeted’

Yesterday, two very prominent black pastors in the D.C. area filed suit against Coca-Cola and the American Beverage Association. In their lawsuit, filed in D.C. Superior Court, accusations are made that the organizations knowingly deceive their black, and minority, consumers regarding the health risks of sugar-sweetened beverages. These drinks are the cause of black communities high rate of disease, diabetes and stroke, they argue.

Victimized by free will!

Eff off, and take responsibility for yourselves, people have known for decades that too much sugar is bad for you. Quit blaming whitey for your poor life choices.

  • Millie_Woods

These people have set social, cultural and technological advancement back decades. There’s no telling where we’d be if we didn’t didn’t have to take care of their every need and demand. It’s every bit as hideous an injustice as slavery was.

  • Brett_McS

Don’t forget the fried chicken. Very fattening.

    • Clink9

With gallons of orange and purple draaaank.

      • Starlord

Don’t forget the mayo, buckets of it.

    • Justin St.Denis

Watching them scarf bags and bags of pork rinds must be seen to be believed.

  • GrimmCreeper

Note to black community, since your leaders believe you are too stupid to figure it out like everyone else has, too much sugar will probably make you fat.

  • roccolore

Yet another case of lazy racists demanding the government pay for their irresponsibility.

  • andycanuck

    OMG! I’m black then!

Maybe John Tory will give me a paid “community liaison” job?

    • David Murrell

Agreed. Until I contracted cancer two years ago, I was a daily Dike Coke addict., Please include me in Tory’s payout. Btw, I need $50,000, cash.

  • Many US blacks won’t drink Coke because they think the government puts chemicals in it to make black men sterile. We had to switch to Pepsi where I used to work to keep them happy.

    • Justin St.Denis

      Are you serious?

      • Oh yes. I know it’s bizarre, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the real reason these Pastors are attacking Coke.

  • Justin St.Denis

This is hilarious. And sad. Very, very sad.

  • Norman_In_New_York

I guess they will have to stick to Colt 45 and watermelons.

  • Alain

The groundwork for this was done a good while ago with allowing people and even governments to shake down tobacco companies and even others. Now the blacks have just added a new twist to the shakedown racket by including the race card. The days when people were considered responsible for their actions and choices flew the coop many decades ago.

That’s certainly true of many on the left. Many conservatives know that the end result will be more government interference. We were always expected to take responsibility for ourselves. My 89 year old mother was talking on Saturday about how when she & her twin stole a pencil each, my grandfather marched them down to the manager at Eaton’s and insisted that this was very serious business indeed and he wanted the manager to treat it so. That way they would never forget that stealing was wrong and effected others, beside yourself. The fact that she has Alzheimers and remembers the event, consequences and purpose of the whole episode and what was said & done, accurately, is pretty good.
