Roger Waters – Unhinged, Antisemitic, Hypocritical & Lying

Last night, Roger Waters was interviewed by BDS movement founder and alleged tax cheat Omar Barghouti. The almost hour-long interview was broadcast live on Facebook, and watched by mostly pro-Israel people!

Another reason to hate 92 CHITI FM which plays his music every fucking day.

Really!?! I don’t think I have actually heard anything by Roger Waters in years. Naturally, I have trained my ears to ignore all things Roger Waters since Floyd released THE WALL, which made me vomit like I hadn’t vomited since first hearing John Lennon’s IMAGINE dirge. Or like everything Neil Young released after, say, 1986.

I just received the newly remastered Frankie Goes To Hollywood albums – “Welcome To The Pleasuredome” and “Liverpool”. I had forgotten what incredibly good musicians those guys were! And Trevor Horn is brilliant! Highly recommended.

I never listened to Frankie much more than what was on the radio.
Loved the Art of Noise, though.
And even though they kicked Trevor Horn out of the band after a while.
        I love ZTT Records.

        • Justin St.Denis

I had a few Art of Noise LPs back in the day. I have nothing of them on CD. Now you’ve reminded me about them, their music will be all I will want to hear for the next three days. That’s how my music-brain works. 😉

          • dance…dancetotheradio

Strangely, this is my favourite Art of Noise song.
            B-side of Legs, I think.

          • Justin St.Denis

Now you’re teasing me! I LOVED that track! OMG! I gotta get me some Noise! 😉

Is there a “Definitive Collection” or some other release that you would recommend. I will remember the LPs I had as soon as I see the covers again.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

I had three of their albums and a couple of singles.
            So did my friends.
I torrented their discography a while ago.
It’s on a spare hard drive somewhere.

I was throwing up by the 4:21 mark (actually before), so give me back all those hours I spent on the Dark Side of the Moon and here’s your effing Brick in the Wall.

  • JohnfromToronto

What a lying piece of crap.

  • Maggat

Things are getting hard to handle. First I had to junk my collection of Neil Young, then Bruce Springsteen, now Pink Floyd. Thank the Good Lord I’ve got Baroque to fall back on.

    • Justin St.Denis

      Telemann is safe. PHEW!

    • shasta

I dislike most of my favourite artists from my generation for reasons of their morals, politics or personality. I think if I knew as much about Baroque artists I would have the same problem.

    • bargogx1

I wouldn’t necessarily junk your Pink Floyd collection because of Roger Waters. Rumour has it the rest of the band hates him, and contrary to popular belief, a lot of the songs were actually sung by David Gilmour.

      • Maggat

The term junk was figuratively speaking.

      • Clausewitz

Waters claimed that he was playing the best bass he had played in years on the Wall. He kept claiming that right up until David Gilmour let the cat out of the bag and stated he scrapped all of Water’s tracks and re recorded the bass tracks himself. Waters was right in that was the best bass on a Pink Floyd album in years.

Thome Yorke of Radiohead just told him to fuck-off and the all the BDS bastards when they announced their concert in Tel Aviv.
