Banished to Alberta for one year: Newfoundland crook handed ancient punishment

Unlike so many other Newfoundlanders, Gordie Bishop is a Newfoundlander who, in his 32 years of life, has never left the province. That will soon change.

I have a feeling we’ll be hearing from Mr. Bishop again – and soon.

So this punishment wasn’t designed to foist a problem on another jurisdiction. What a load of crap. My guess is that within a month in Fort Mac, he’s in a holding cell awaiting an arraignment hearing. But, if the Judges in Alberta are smart they’ll “banish” this career criminal right back to Newfoundland so they can deal with him like they should have in the first place.

Gotta agree. I’d chain him to a 6×6 about 50 miles north of Fort Mac for his year of banishment.

The clue to the problem is this

“his criminal record is 27 pages long.”

The problem is an parasitic and incompetent “justice” system, my guess is they got more than enough “justice” work for the lawyers, judges
psycho doctors, social workers, police and all the other other parasites for
      years in Newfoundland.

So they’re sending an aids package to their fellow parasites in Alberta.
He’ll run up another 27 pages there, generating millions in court time.
legal aid, police hours, social work that they’re all bill the taxpayer
      heavily for.

Nope Bishop isn’t the problem, it’s the rest of the criminals in the
courtroom than are the problem, the ones the cops will never catch

    How about Baffin Island instead!

I would like this idea to be developed. Internal banishment could be a remedy to illegal aliens. Stuff them all into sanctuary cities except for life or until they leave the country. There needs to be a way to control them w/o support of the local government like a collar that explodes if they leave.

Give em some tents, firewood and cans of beans and drop them in the Yukon. I’m sure Sgt Preston will help them out.
