Walmart Canada pulls baby onesie from shelves after complaints it’s offensive to Indigenous people

Some people took to Twitter saying the garment was offensive because Indigenous children disproportionately go to foster care.

“Some people took to Twitter saying the garment was offensive (…)”
Then let “some people” feel offended.
If everything was adjusted to not hurt anybody’s “feelings,” nothing could be said or written down. Any joke, political commentary, or even scientific statement will hurt somebody.
PC should finally be put to rest.

So cars, public transportation, clothing, hygiene products, firearms, housing, casinos, electrics then that these natatives use qualitys as cultural appropriation of western society “the white man” and therefore its offensive in nature and should stop

One facet of western society that they are happy to forgo….. a job

Those who were offended still live with their parents.

When will the natives stop culturally and actually appropriating the whiteman welfare?
The answer is never, or at least not as long as there is a red man to guilt a white man into giving it.
What happens when they realize their dream and eventually there are too few whites to supports the rest of the rainbow?

This will be followed by demands for a six million dollar Royal Commission, financial compensation, and a public apology from feminist Trudeau.

“Indigenous children disproportionately go to foster care.”
That’s what indigenous people should address within their own community, instead of whining about some ephemeral t-shirt motto.

That was my first thought. The natives have a lot of problems they could solve themselves but theres no money in that.

Right, this onsie should be banned because parents that have chosen to be derelict in their duties, and or abusive to their offspring are offended.
You know, I’m happy there are willing foster parents out there, I know one and the challenges they have with these indigenous kids are enormous.
