Star Trek Fan is within his Charter Rights on Freedom of Speech as it is a quote from the Borg episodes . Looks like he will be entitled to sue the Canadian Government for Millions if he is not allowed his Plate as it contravenes his Charter of Rights!

Every time I see something like this, where government or players in the social justice game get offended by such trivial stuff, It just confirms all the major social problems are solved in the west and we live in the best, freest, safest, most tolerant society possible. If your only concern is some Trekkie’s license plate, you’re not oppressed, you just have a chip on your shoulder and way too much time on your hands.

But the Liberals have been telling us for the past 40 years that immigrants are assimilating so what’s wrong with this plate even if it wasn’t obviously Star Trek related (especially with the Borg references on the plate-holder)?

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms and John Carpay do excellent work.
Unfortunately they never lack for people needing their help against pro red fascist politicians, prf government bureaucrats, and their rf SJW outriders.

I for one am glad every time things like this happen. Even if the person involved loses his plate in the end, cases like this turns more and more people off and they become less likely to be supportive in the future.

Maybe everyone will be so fed up they will just say……

    Long live white bread!

  • Why has this even gone to court?

Also, Picard should have used the anti-Borg virus when he had the chance.

If any lixense plate can be taken away because of one persons feelings being hurt then why even have personalized plates.
