The Media’s Trump Derangement Syndrome
The liberal media doesn’t like the President. For that matter some in the conservative media don’t like the President either…yes, that means our friends at National Review and The Weekly Standard and doubtless a few others.
There’s plenty of room for honest disagreement.
But it is all too obvious that the Trump candidacy and now the Trump presidency has produced what can only be called Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) among Trump critics both in and out of the media. As noted here previously, Time magazine devoted its “Person of the Year” cover in 2008 and 2016 to the new presidents-elect. Obama was handsomely and heroically portrayed. Donald Trump? He was seen scowling at the camera and labeled the “President of the Divided States of America.” No Trump phobia there!
Female Islamic State Militants Use Children as Human Shields in Last Ditch Defense of Mosul
Female Islamic State (ISIS) fighters in Iraq are using their children as human shields in a last ditch defense of Mosul as the U.S.-led coalition has all but liberated the city.
“The women are fighting with their children right beside them,” Lt. Gen. Sami al-Aridi told the Associated Press. “It’s making us hesitant to use air strikes, to advance. If it weren’t for this we could be finished in just a few hours.”
Harper Releases Statement After Trudeau Government Lies About Khadr Payout
Not only did Justin Trudeau lie to Canadians about the Khadr deal – saying the “process” was “ongoing” even after the payment was secretly made – but he actually sent out his stooges to try and blame former Prime Minister Stephen Harper for the payment.
Of course, that’s not the case. Everything that happened with Khadr’s imprisonment took place under Liberal governments. And Trudeau was not forced to pay Khadr. Trudeau chose to make that disgusting decision, and he not only gave Khadr $10.5 million, but did so in such a way that Tabitha Speer and Layne Morris couldn’t get any of the money.
Now, Stephen Harper has released a statement pushing back against the despicable lies of the Trudeau government.
Read the emails Evergreen State’s president was sent that denounce him as a foolish coward
Evergreen State College’s President George Bridges fielded many angry emails that basically called him a coward and a fool after the school erupted in a flurry of racial protests and the president largely sided with campus agitators, documents recently obtained by The College Fix through a public records act request show.
“You are enabling a truly reprehensible ideology to consume your campus and if you don’t stop it soon there is very little chance the college will survive. This type of appeasement is dangerous and will not be good for anyone, especially for the students who believe that these threats and intimidation will win the day,” Vicki H. wrote to Bridges.
Putin Says Trump ‘Asked A Lot Of Questions’ About Election Hacking
Russian president Vladimir Putin said Saturday that President Trump “asked a lot of questions” about election meddling during their lengthy meeting at the G-20 summit on Friday.
Speaking at a press conference on the sidelines of the summit, which is being held in Hamburg, Germany, Putin also praised Trump and said that he believes that the U.S. and Russia are on a path to repair their frayed relationship.
“The Trump you see on TV is very different from Trump the real person,” Putin told reporters. “He’s very specific, he’s able to understand what you tell him, he analyzes your words pretty quickly, and he’s able to respond. He answers your questions or he responds to whatever may come up in the course of discussion.”
Douglas Todd: Buying fake jobs to immigrate
Canadian employers are creating fake jobs so would-be immigrants can quickly get citizenship.
Immigration “consultants” often arrange the illicit deals, which frequently result in Canadian business owners being paid to fabricate non-existent jobs.
Other times, the migrants perform actual work, while themselves handing cash to the employer under the table to top up their own salary.
The employers, for their part, devise fraudulent pay stubs so the foreign nationals can “prove” to immigration officials they have needed skills to go to the front of the queue to become a permanent resident of Canada.
Dems File Emergency Lawsuit To Stop Trump From Protecting America’s Elections
The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) has filed an emergency lawsuit to stop President Trump’s Commission on voter fraud investigation. The center has led a serious push for privacy in the Digital Age, but this move smacks of partisan politics.
In May, Trump issued an executive order establishing the commission. Its job is to “promote fair and honest elections.” However, that doesn’t bode well for democratic electorates. As many as two-thirds of U.S. states have baulked at the request sent out by Secretary of State Kris Kobach.
The young British Pakistani women prepared to marry their COUSINS in order to keep their families happy – but risk giving birth to disabled children
It may be controversial but it is legal to marry your cousin in the UK.
And for British Pakistanis the practise is common with an estimated 55 percent of them doing so.
For some Muslim girls it is an arrangement they agree to in order to keep their families happy, as Bradford-born Hiba Maroof discovered in BBC Three documentary ‘Should I Marry My Cousin’.
Impossible Foods CEO: we want to eliminate all meat from human diets
It’s the veggie burger that bleeds. When eaten, it tastes and feels remarkably similar in your mouth to a burger made from animal meat.

Impossible Foods founder Pat Brown explains the impact he hopes to have on our health, the future of the livestock industry and the natural environment.
Canadians less than enthusiastic about gender-neutral identification: Poll
Should there be gender-neutral identification available on government-issued documents?
According to a new poll, Canadians are divided down the middle on this contemporary subject, with roughly half (49%) in favour of gender-neutral identification for those who want it, and the other half (51%) opposed.
That changes, however, if the government document in question is a birth certificate.
