Loretta Lynch denies tipping off Team Clinton about email probe

Ex-Attorney General Loretta Lynch has denied telling Hillary Clinton’s campaign that the feds would pull their punches in their investigation into the former Secretary of State’s private email server.

Lynch said she never gave such an assurance to former Clinton campaign aide Amanda Renteria — an allegation that came in a Russian intelligence memo, Politico reported.

“Ms. Lynch does not know Ms. Renteria, did not discuss the Clinton email investigation with Ms. Renteria, and did not communicate to Ms. Renteria, either in words or in substance, that ‘she would not let the FBI investigation into Clinton go too far,’” her lawyer, Robert Raben, said in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is probing her actions.
