Popular UK dating TV show to feature LGBT contestants for first time

The Blind Date episode, to air tomorrow to coincide with London’s gay pride march, will feature a woman deciding between three potential female dates who are hidden from view.

      The presenter of the show is Paul O’Grady, who performed as Lily Savage, drag comedian (?comedienne). His partner is a Brazilian and a former ballet dancer. Talk about a cliché.

    Since not all lesbians are ugly butches, this might attract a following. If this program really wanted ratings, it could try making both women switch hitters.
