Make No Mistake, Canada Doesn’t Owe Omar Khadr An Apology

It is morally reprehensible that the Trudeau government is reportedly considering an agreement to offer convicted terrorist Omar Khadr a full “apology” and award him more than $10 million in compensation. Despite what this government wants Canadians to believe, Omar Khadr is not a victim.

I listened to the whole nauseating press conference this morning. Threw up when the Justice Minister said she was proud to be on Algonquin land — was I the only one that caught that?

Goodale, the weasel, was smooth in his delivery. I must say that Mr. Butts does a terrific job in casting the right characters for the job.

I am angry, depressed and sick!!!

      Because it’s 2017 mofo!

Yes, the important part to the Liberal morons is that whiny indian ass kissing must be part of any national discussion.

This is a Black Swan event.
Hubristic Liberals just signed their political obituaries.

  • Liberal Progressive

This payment absolutely had to be made to Omar Khadr now.

There are only three fiscal years left until the next federal election and if the money wasn’t given now Omar might not be able to give three consecutive years of donations to various Liberal Party of Canada candidates, their riding associations and to the federal party.

    • JoKeR

Hip-hip-horray! What shall we call this Liberal quid pro quo, Khadr-scam?

    • Reader

Even though this money was given tax-free, any of it used for federal political donations will give him tax credits he can use to offset any other income such as speaking fees I can foresee in his future.

  • Khadr and his wretched family deserved to be boiled in bacon fat and fed to the sharks.

But they don’t deserve apologies or money.

    • Clink9

Ask what “your” country can do for you.

      • My country sees fit to pay a smug piece of sh– money he doesn’t deserve.

        • dance…dancetotheradio

          Spittle flecked fury.

So let me get this straight. Feminist Trudeau can secretly pay off a convicted terrorist with taxpayers money. He then pays the money before American military families can take legal action. It is already reported that slimy lawyers will get a big chunk of the money. And Trudeau has it announced when parliament is not sitting, and he is in Europe showing off his socks. And the media and population are not outraged. If fact the tightly controlled media is full of praises for our little prince.

    • canminuteman

Everyone I know is outraged. I work with a pretty apolitical bunch of guys, or at least we don’t talk about politics at work. EVERYONE was talking about this, and they were all outraged.

      • Exile1981

Liberals and NDP types at work were outraged by this. I did see the CBC at lunch time giving a bunch of stupid reasons why Trudeau had no choice but to give the money and how he did it for the betterment of the country.

          The Trump Thump is imminent.

I’m going to print the pictures of him walking the streets with a string of hands and leave them everywhere.

Rex Murphy also has a critique up at the National Post that’s linked at SDA.

  • ontario john

Rex Murphy at the National Post website, has an excellent story on this. It should be required reading. .

He’s going to flee North America.

You can sense it during these interviews.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

I thought he was not supposed to leave Alberta for Ontario.

      • Exile1981

He’s not, it was supposed to be part of his parole conditions… but he already violated the one about making contact with his terrorist buddies over seas as well…..so it’s not like turdeau will send him back to prison.

        • dance…dancetotheradio

          Paging Jack Ruby.

  • canminuteman

In a country which considers Louis Riel a Father of Confederation, is it any surprise that we apologize to other treasonous bastards?

    • dance…dancetotheradio

We call Louis Riel Day in Manitoba Traitor Day.
My wife is Metis and we have argued about it but I love her anyway.

  • Ho Hum

Not only is he not owed an apology it was insane for the Trudeau government to be negotiating an out-of-court settlement. This should have been decided in the courts. Had Khadr won in the courts there is no way the award would have been anywhere near 10 million dollars. Awards of this magnitude in Canada are are reserved for plaintiffs who have been grievously injured at an early age and require life long medical care. Also if Khadr had won any award could have been appealed and most awards are reduced on appeal.

    • Exile1981

CBC ran a story on the TV today about how the supreme court would have ruled in Omar’s behalf and then the gov’t would have had to pay more than 10 million so it’s better to pay it now and save the tax payers the added payments and legal costs.

The actually said Turdeau was all about saving the tax payers money.

If the two Americans suing Khadr make enough noise, Trump will weigh in. Trudeau behaved like a thief in the night.

    • JoKeR

      “behaved like”?

      • dance…dancetotheradio

        He’s gone too far.
Get the bellows out and fan the fire.
This is the one we’ve waited for.

Hells bells, he is a thief. In the morning, mid day, evening, and all damn night.

Mr. Norman, I hope you are right.
If anyone can right this injustice it is your President.
I’m ashamed to be a Canadian today.

  • bob e

Canada owes him a noose ..

  • Yo Mama

What I wanna see is if someone publishes his present address for all Canadian to see.

  • What Khadr and his rancid family are owed is certainly not money.
