Interview with Omar Khadr about his settlement with the federal government

The federal government has apologized to former Guantanamo Bay inmate Omar Khadr and, sources say, paid him $10.5 million to settle his long-standing lawsuit over the violations of his charter rights. Canadian Press reporter Colin Perkel talked to Khadr about the settlement and the widespread anger it has engendered.

New US policy: No prisoners.

Canada’s newest multimillionaire wouldn’t give a rat’s ass if the Canadian public are angry at him. He can now set up in a villa in Tuscany if he wants and wouldn’t ever have to face Canadians, look us in the eye. This terrorist’s ship came in, thanks to our PM. It’s Trudeau who deserves the outrage.

There is a cat from? Where was that smiling cat from?

Newest US policy: CIA “kill teams” wandering around Canada. 😉

      Are they hiring?

        Cushy federal jobs!

Let those American snipers get a bit of hands-on practice.

There are several posts on this issue and I’m going to hit every one of them.
This is the most offensive decision made by any government ever.

  • Oracle9

No jihad renunciation. All the platitudes about moving on, working as a nurse (ha!) are meaningless. He’s a friggin multimillionaire and, would he choose to actually work, I would think that the only job he might be able to keep is a permanent cushy and very obscure appointed position with our Liberal elites, or maybe a few high-paid speaking engagements for Green Party conventions on the rewards of terrorism. He’s got a big fan in Elizabeth May.

I’m not even angry about our leadership. Bitterness turns into cynicism.

    • pike bishop

He could keep busy bringing Elisabeth May daiquiris.

    • Tooth&Claw

Who would want him as a nurse?

  • Yo Mama

Canada rewards those who kill Americans and infidels!

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been learning from Mahmoud Abbas as to how to reward terrorists!

Imagine going to the hospital and THAT being your nurse!

    • Drunk_by_Noon

You would just have to suck it up.
If you complained you would be denounced as a racist and you would never work again.

      • k1962

Well I guess I could just demand a white nurse then. One who doesn’t have brown teeth and a wonky eye. Kind of like what a woman did in Mississauga a couple of weeks ago 😉

Oh yeah, and one who isn’t a convicted murderer. Don’t know how he can become a nurse with that background!

        • Drunk_by_Noon

          Convicted murder?
          He’s a confessed WAR CRIMINAL!

They started with the announcement, that they recognize that the news conference was being held on whiny indian land. Because as we all know, every issue has to point out that we stole the land from the more advanced peaceful indian nations. Perhaps they can issue an apology and hand over 10 million dollars for having the conference on indian land.

I watched the CBC interview. His eyes, his mouth and the way in which he said everything leads me to believe that he is utterly unrepentant. He has been surrounded by sympathetic lefties since his release and has completely played them. He’s learned the language of reconciliation and fed it back to them.
“I don’t want to be a burden” – You’ve just been given $10.5M from Canadian taxpayers.
“restore a little bit of my reputation here in Canada” – The only reputation you ever had here was one of a hardened jihadi bomb maker, professional liar and a social welfare family sponge living off the state.
“It’s a time of reconciliation” – Reconciliation takes two sides. So far I have seen nothing that makes me think Khadr is truly repentant. He expects but does not give.
“It’s been a struggle to find jobs” – change your fucking name. Even Vince Lee did it.
“I want to work as a nurse somewhere it’s needed” – You’ve just been given $10.5M. You never have to work again for the rest of your life. That’s Florence Nightingale syndrome, a delusion of grandeur and a sure sign of a psychopathic liar. Plus Syria doesn’t need nurses.
“I want people to look beyond and see more about what went on” – Read: You might think I’m a terrorist but the true terrorists are the USA bombing innocent muslims.

Anybody with any doubts just has to go to Mahar Arar’s twitter feed to find out exactly what another treasonous Canadian import thinks about the whole thing.

This should have been the last thing Omar Khadr saw, albeit with an American Serviceman wielding an M1911:
