Khadr decision slap in the face to the U.S.

Omar Khadr Filthy Muslim Terrorist

On the Fourth of July, America’s Independence Day, news broke that the government of Canada would reportedly award $10.5 million to a convicted al-Qaida terrorist who murdered an American soldier in Afghanistan.

An anonymous source, apparently from the Trudeau government, spoke to reporters at the Associated Press, the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail, choosing U.S. Independence Day to leak this story to the press.

Probably part of feminist Trudeau’s efforts sell out Canada to China.

    • Shebel

Justin is selling Canada out to a lot more the China.
I am afraid as to what the idiot might do next.

I think that Trump has him all figured out.

  • Norman_In_New_York

Something good might come of this. When the Justice Department cracks down on the jihadists, they might decide to leave the U.S. for greener pastures elsewhere.

    • The Deplorable Rosenmops

No thanks, we are all stocked up on terrorists.

      • John Boy

Are you talking about the ones who are Liberal Members of Parliament?

        • Denis

as I have said previously, the DOJ should declare the canadian liberal party a terrorist organization.

  • Hard Little Machine

Again, the fault is ours. Bush and Obama both fumbled Gitmo by refusing to try these people. We do not hold people without trial for a decade. That’s not what we’re about.

    • It is normal to hold soldiers till the end of a war. The Islamic war against civilization is ongoing. The asshole should be in jail in chains.

      • Hard Little Machine

Then try them. Or – you’re playing into their hands by calling them POWs.

Geneva Conventions allow combatants not using an identifiable uniform to be summarily executed. How hard would it have been to get the info from these “prisoners” and then a quiet helicopter ride over the Caribbean where the waters have been chummed to attract sharks?

        • The Islamic war is far from over.

          • Hard Little Machine

Sometimes the best way to fight a war is to not announce you’re fighting a war. Just quietly go about your business

    • Norman_In_New_York

Jihad is war, not criminal activity. Given the fanatical nature of the enemy, we are better off taking no prisoners.

      • Hard Little Machine

I too prefer the Koranic Rules of War. Accept no surrender, take no prisoners.

I only read a brief bit but I understand the widow is putting in a claim on the settlement. Let’s hope she wins especially based on the recent Ontario Iran-property case.

  • Raymond Hietapakka

Well, Monsieur trudeau? Will you now be about to honour a similar lawsuit about to be filed? http://www.iran-bn.com/2017/07/04/canadian-court-upholds-1-7bn-judgment-against-iran/

    • Solo712

Unfortunately that case was state-to-state matter and involved Iranian assets held by Canada. There is no parallel in the Khadri case. Speer’s widow can sue Khadr for the money she won in the US court case, and if Canada denies her the right to execute a lien on its trerritory, the US could retaliate quid pro quo. That’s about it.

      • shasta

The US should seize Canadian government assets to pay off the 142 mill $ court award.

        • Solo712

          Good luck with that !

          • shasta

No luck needed – Junior would roll over like a puppy dog.

  • simus1

A terrorist beehive with C$10.5 mil in the mattress should attract some interesting bears.

  • Micky C.

I hope Tabitha Speers sues Omar to his great grand children into perpetual slavery.

  • That’s why it was done.

I hope that Layne Morris and Mrs. Speer take every single monetary unit from that scum.

  • Shebel

It is slap in the face of Canadians–
    We are not ALL apologetic.
