5 Armed Forces members disrupted Indigenous event on Canada Day

National Defence has confirmed five men who disrupted an Indigenous ceremony on Canada Day in Halifax are members of the Armed Forces.

The commander of the Royal Canadian Navy issued a statement on Facebook in response to the incident.

It did not say what, if any, actions are being taken against the members, but said “when the chain of command becomes aware of a sailor’s/soldier’s conduct that is not in keeping with our respective Codes of Conduct, or contrary to our strategic objectives, then it takes action.”

What tribe does that Black guy belong to?

      KKKanada!
      I’m totally stealing that one.
That must be an homage to the lyrical stuttering in Bachman Turner Overdrive’s “You Aint Seen Nothing Yet”.

          What does “full liberation” mean?
Actual genocide of the whites, I imagine.

And then blame Whitey when they can’t maintain anything after Whitey is gone.

Just like all those African countries we left in good shape, but they let fall apart. We are still paying for those ones just as we are the aboriginals.

You can’t use “KKKanada”, as the Democrat Party is a USA thing, and I don’t believe its KKK offshoot ever got that far north. If anything, Canada was acting contrary to Democrat Party beliefs in slavery, thus the ‘Underground Railroad’ to Canada and free slave states in the US.

Trudeau is working on this though.

    • Why are they still alive if we committed genocide?

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Because “genocide” means to ‘annoy’ by withholding ever-greater amounts of welfare aid.

You are so steeped in Western ideas of time, not native time. The natives were planning on building a brighter, better, safer, more productive civilization than Western Civilization, but they only had more time than the West and didn’t quite get around to implementing this utopia. Now you know why.

        • dukestreet

I had to read native lit in my 2nd English class. I found their writing is the same way.

So they don’t want our money anymore?

      • Tom Forsythe

One of their key demands was that the RCMP run electricity to their teepee, so they could charge their cell phones.

          Fire-wire smoke signals.

          • Tom Forsythe

If the SJW’s looked at cell phones, the way they look at Western democracy, they would point out that a lot of places still don’t have coverage, early models were ugly and flawed, and point out the character faults of the designers. Then, they would smash all the transmission towers and tell us why smoke signals are better.

        • Watchman

Do you think a industrial-quality 69,000 Volt bare wire on a table in the teepee would be adequate? That would help with some smoke signals.

        • Kathy Prendergast

Of course the media didn’t mention the indians defacing the monument to General Cornwallis, the founder of Halifax ,with their stone age crap. Its now a crime in Canada and the military to defend our military history. I suppose feminist Trudeau will have to apologize again to the whiny indians.

The disrespect is from the First Nations’ co-opting the Canadian commemoration. Any other day, not that one which celebrates this country. We cannot turn back to centuries ago. The implications from the top down in this country is that Canada is undeserving of existing as a country.

Of course, the CBC coverage has no forum for comments.

There was once a time when I had sympathy for our native population. They have managed, by their own actions, to completely erode that feeling. I have come to the conclusion, that we would have been better to have not given them all the special privileges they have received and required them to learn to be part of the general population. They are expected not to educate themselves,so that they can be a bad example of how to live or not live with others. Often, their leaders abuse the money they get from us and leave their own people in abject poverty so that they can be used to get more from Canadians. It’s a vicious cycle of the people who are supposed to take care of them, using them.

There is another group that suffers from the same problem. The so called,Palestinians, whose leaders do exactly the same.

it’s interesting how the natives feel quite within their rights to abuse the Dominion Day celebrations and insisting that they can set up a Tee-pee in the middle of the parliament hill ,but our military must be punished for doing something that is not anywhere as in your face, nor lasts all day long, as theirs did.
