Paris gets an app warning people if they are in a ‘no-go’ zone and giving live alerts of sexual assaults

An app has been launched in Paris warning people if they are in a so-called no-go zone and giving live alerts of sexual assaults.

Dozens of people have already downloaded No-Go Zone, which is available on Google Play, and it currently has a rating of 4.3 out of 5.

Its designers say the app is meant to let people know if they are in a dangerous area and allow them to avoid places in the French capital where they might be at risk of violence or crime.

Will probably need an app for Toronto/GTA soon…

  • Blind Druid

The Swedish Gov’t will probably ban this app.

Didn’t Fox News warn us about these No-Go Zones and didn’t the faggot-Franks clutch their pearls in protest that it wasn’t true?

  • My app says: “why go to France at all?” I am increasingly unwilling to go anywhere that I can’t take my other mobile device. It has seven apps 4 hollow points and 3 not.

Can you believe that most of those faggot European countries wont even let a guy wear his own body armor?
How the hell else am I supposed to get level 4 protection!?
What the fuck is this, Hitler’s Russia!?
At least in California I can still walk around with a loaded pump action 12-gauge shotgun ready to go (as long as the barrel is greater than 18″ and it doesn’t have a pistol grip)!

Same in Soviet Canuckistan, mostly. It goes by province though.
Ya know what’s weird.. (or maybe not that weird, when ya really think about it). In Syria, before the levee broke, it was long guns, not pistols, that made the authorities selectively enforce what passed for law there.

        • Drunk_by_Noon

Can you rephrase that last sentence?
They regulated handguns and didn’t care about long guns, or the other way around?
Generally your average criminal loves handguns while your average jihadi or political fanatic loves Kalashnikovs.
Unless you are in South Central L.A. and then that rule, it can invert sometimes.

          • El Martyachi

That’s right – they cared about long guns and not handguns.

True story: I was staying once in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and was thinking about driving down to Miami to visit and see the sights. I went into a gas station, and as I was coming in one of the employees came hurrying out with a revolver in hand. I asked the guy behind the counter what that all was about, and the employee said that it was a fellow employee racing after a ‘gas and run’ theft. The employee was going after the absconders for payment, but had taken the pistol for ‘protection’.

Inside, I browsed the map section for maps of Miami. One of the maps showed Miami city, with an overall map with suburbs coloured according to the assessed risk of being in those areas. The key showed: Green = Safe, Orange = Caution, Red = Unsafe. The whole Miami area was Orange, except for the one area marked Red.

I never did make it to Miami to check out it’s sights.

I bet you thought twice about stealing their gas too, dincha? 😉
In many states proprietors can use deadly force in “hot pursuit” of retrieving their property.
Some of them take “loss prevention” VERY seriously.

Is the same App sold on Google Play under the name “Home Zone”. When you select the language it changes the App name to either “No-Go Zone” or “Home Zone”: “No-Go Zone” for English, French, Dutch, or German, “Home Zone” for Arabic, Berber or Turkish.

France is a shithole and Paris is a shithole of shitholes. My advice after spending two “glorious weeks of ‘vacation’ ” there in July 2016 is this: Avoid Paris like the plague, unless you enjoy seeing migrants roaming the streets, Muslims, hezbollah and hamas and Palestinian flags by the hundreds at the base of the Eiffel Tower, French soldiers with machine guns everywhere (courtesy of the “religion of peace”), and the most bloody annoying Chinese tourists on the planet earth, waving selfie sticks like light sabres at every photo opportunity. The museums are unbearable as a result of Chinese iPhone users at every turn, the food in the capital is wretched and overpriced unless you’re a millionaire.

NYC is 1000 times better quality for food and drink and accommodation and entertainment and art galleries and much more reasonably priced, too. French food and wine (the latter so undrinkable by the glass in Paris that 90% of Europeans visiting the shithole of Paris drink Belgian beer at cafes for approx. $13 Canadian per glass) in Manhattan is better than in Paris and, come to think of it, there are possibly more authentic Parisians in NYC than Paris these gloomy days. It is a city oddly without a French population, and getting weirder by the day.
