Terrorism Is Not The Enemy

Terrorism, defined by the use of fear and intimidation and the violent targeting of innocent human lives, is horrible. But America is not at war with terrorism.

Terrorism isn’t an ideology. It is a tactic used by terrorists, the vast majority of whom have been driven to wage war by their faith. It is the adherents of one faith in particular, Islam, who are unique in their use of that terrorism today.

My enemy is the guy I work with who think all cultures are equal.

Time to send him on a vacation to the land of cannibals.

        It’s worse than that.
He’s the same kind of guy who vacations in Cuba.

You are clearly dealing with a lost cause well beyond reason or help. I would no longer have the patience to work with someone like that, but that is because I now have a choice. Now my ‘burden’ is friends who share my views and opinions on politics believe all the lies about Trump due to relying on the MSM for their news. When I have the energy and time I do make a point of correcting them, but the next time we run into each other they have fallen back to the original narrative. Now either I don’t respond, change the subject or just say we shall never agree on this issue and best we move on.

The most common thing I say when talking to them about Trump is, ‘That is not what he said. That’s what the media told you that he said.’

The problem is that for most of time they do not claim he said whatever; they simply repeat what I call sound bites they heard such is Trump is a lose cannon, Trump is an idiot, Trump is dangerous, etc. After already attempted to deal with this a few times with the same person by asking what they are basing their comment on after which I would correct their information, I just don’t feel like repeating this scenario over and over. I call it their Trump default position and very few Canadians around here are immune to it. I prefer to use my energy on doing other things that give me pleasure than getting caught up in this broken tape routine.

not all media are terrorists .. but I can’t find any who ain’t ..

    • Alain

They are clearly guilty of aiding and abetting at the very least.

Anyone who hasn’t realized by now that we’re in an ideological war has got their head firmly buried in the sand.

    • Alain

Yes indeed. Also whatever the identity of the various groups it comes down to those who are pro-freedom and those who oppose freedom.
