‘Put It Down!’ Piers Morgan Tells Tommy Robinson Holding the Quran Is ‘Inflammatory’

Presenter Piers Morgan demanded controversial activist Tommy Robinson “show some respect” and not show a Quran on television, labelling him an “Islamophobe” and repeatedly shouting “put it down” when Robinson displayed the book on camera.

You could not have scripted Morgan better than he performed, an unhinged Liberal losing an argument whose only response is tossing around the word “Bigot” like the dud grenade it is.

The temporary shine is off the douche. Sorta like maher in that respect.

I could never figure Bill Maher out. He is spot on when it comes to Islam. On virtually everything else he is 180 degrees off point.

        “never figure Bill Maher out”
Getting more than one thing in a hundred correct is well beyond the statistical probability of one with his “intelligence”.

Why didn’t Piers bring out his house imam with a scimitar to punish Tommy for touching the “sacred text” with his Kaffur hands?

  • LairdKintyre

Piers Morgan is the kind of useful idiot both Leftists and Islamists love, the self censoring type (read, Dhimmi)

I keep a paperback copy of the Quran with my readers digests in my bathroom. Hey, don’t call me disrespectful. I at least keep my good hardcover copy on my study bookshelf.

I have one on my E reader, when I delete it, consider it destroyed.

The koran is a murder manual. Why is discussing it off-limits?

  • Clink9

    Morgan is a yuuuuge ignoramus.

The “toob”, whether in it’s new classy, flat-screen version or on your phone is such an insidious part of our lives that we are scarcely aware of its powerful manipulative effects nor are we aware of the death screams emitted by this dying medium. and those who populate it

Morgan, like other journos of his ilk, is not unaware that his form of crowd control — brain-washing, if you prefer — is rapidly dying on the withered vine. Yesterday, we tended to dismiss Tommy as s “soccer hooligan” but thanks to citizen journalism we know that to be a falsehood. In fact it is Tommy who commands respect for his Sisyphean struggle that is probably hopeless, but still he caries on.

As for Piers, I am reminded of a simple experiment we were forced to undertake in my first year science survey course, designed for ‘artsies”. Its purpose was to introduce us to scientific thinking.

The experiment involved observing what happened when DDT (a deadly poison) was introduced to a petri dish full of miniscule shrimp (‘Silent Spring’ was still a big seller back then). I still recall with amazement how the doommed shrimp went into almost a prolonged period of hyperactivity before they finally (and mercifully) succumbed.

It’s incredible that someone as stupid, clueless, and dictatorial as Piers Morgan is given a microphone. He is not even a reporter: he invited Tommy Robinson to debate his opinion, but he doesn’t want to hear it, he wants to trample it without letting Tommy speak.
    Piers Moron.

    • It really is. He’s one of those people whose celebrity I can’t figure out at all. I might not like a lot of famous people, but I can usually figure out why someone else might. Morgan isn’t easy on the eye, he isn’t smart, he isn’t skilled, he isn’t interesting, and he exudes a combination of smarmy arrogance and palpable self-loathing which is quite cringe-makingly off-putting.

      • Clink9

        He’s a waste of skin.

      • bargogx1

I’m sad to say I do kind of get it. He’s basically an attack dog, and when he’s attacking and ridiculing the opinion of someone whose opinion you think deserves attacking and ridiculing, it can be quite gratifying. Unfortunately, the next day he’ll be attacking someone you completely agree with. It’s a love/hate kind of thing. Frankly, I’m not sure which end of the political spectrum he’s on, because he seems to me to be all over the map, which is probably the basis of his broad love/hate appeal.

        • Dave

an attack dog? more like an attack Chihuahua (ok, it is kind of like a dog), but like piers morgan, it is commonly referred to as a “rat, on a string” and equally useless.

Just when you think Piers is back on track then he does something like this.

  • Maggat

Piers Morgan, when I saw him mocking the lady at a singing show several years ago I formed the opinion that he was an insufferable ass. His time in the US sort of tempered this opinion . Then this performance,,, right back to ‘dreadful opinionated ass’. Actually, an opinionated asshole.

  • SMC_BC

Piers Morgan – still an asshole.

  • vwVwwVwv

Tommy needs to change the us in to me.
There are more than 100 verses calling for my murder,
the murder and rape of my wife and kids, my family, friend and People
And You Pierse are asking me for respect is like asking
a hollocaust survivor to show respect too nazism,
are you a NAZI mr. Morgan???

  • Piers Morgan was like a terrified bar owner trying to shut down a patron’s criticism of his local Mafia Protection Racket while pouring a drink for the Mob Boss.

Wow , the quran forbids it from being seen on TV . How did Muhammad know the TV would be invented but didn’t know the Crusades would push back his blood thirsty rabid savages that slaughtered their way to Spain.
