Father of comatose student freed by North Korea slams Obama

The father of the American student left comatose after 18 months in a North Korean prison has criticized former President Barack Obama for not doing enough to free his son.

“The question is, ‘Do I think the past administration could have done more?’ ” Fred Warmbier, Otto Warmbier’s dad, said at a press conference in Ohio Thursday. “I think the results speak for themselves.”

Strange how the media has dropped this story, since he commented on how Hitler Trump helped in bringing his son home.

The only reason they turned him over is because they couldn’t get the 15 years hard labour out of him…

He should have embraced Allah. Obama would have flown the entire 82nd airborne in to snatch him back

This kid was a typical millennial, SJW before he went over there. It is good that there are still some people that are able to change their minds, and have their eyes opened.

I can’t imagine the crash and burn for the family — after learning their son would be coming home after 18 months imprisinment, then they find out he is in a vegetative state with extensive brain damage.

Anyone foolish enough to voluntarily enter North Korea for any reason is beyond earthly help.

    • Look at this way: when South Korean pastors enter North Korea, it is to deliver flashsticks containing things North Koreans wouldn’t see, sometimes other necessities, or help for a defector to escape.

      Something has to be done.

Some people go there as they would to Cuba: for some perverse pleasure.

The North Korean government could have just forced Otto Warmbier to just make a grovelling apology on their national TV and expelled him afterwards. But then again, that would make too much sense, something that is in short supply in Kim Jong Un’s regime, and they would not have had a hostage to taunt the US with…

        • This is how Kim Jong-Un differs from his equally repulsive father. The younger Kim insists on a show of force every time. He is extorting the US. No more slaps on the wrists but the same forced labour as other Koreans must endure.

  • Why would Obama care about handling North Korea? That regime has brought no president any glory for resolving (not even Bush).

Once again, Obama is an @$$hole.
