Happy Birthday, Harry

  • Gone too soon.

    • Gary

Kinda odd how mama Cass and Keith Moon died in a flat he owned in London.

  • Cat-astrophe

Great musician, fantastic voice. He lives on in my music library.

  • Justin St.Denis

An absolute fountain of talent! There is nothing in his catalogue that is not worth owning. And the voice of a frickin’ angel! What’s not to love? One of a kind.

I remember buying his Album version of the cartoon ‘The Point ‘ in 1971 . Later on in 1974 Plymouth imported a Mitsubishi car called the Lancer but chose to re-badge it as the Arrow while the the Song ‘ me and my arrow ‘ was in the ads.

I test drove one which was ironic because there was no Point to importing it since the Pinto was just as bad but made locally to keep the Parts prices down and well supplied .
Lots of road noise and little power in the city while it felt top-heavy to lean in a normal turn as if the Track was to narrow for the wheelbase . It was sold for the gas mileage and even the early 50’s teacher that loved a V8 Impala or Galaxie was now buying these 4 cylinder death traps that rotted out from our salted roads in just 4 winters.

  • Shebel

    First time for me..
    He was good.
    I guess.

    • Clausewitz

Lol, that “I guess” is what broke up the Eagles the first time. Check out their band bio on youtube to see what I mean.
