Nine in 10 Syrian refugees sponsored by the Trudeau government are unemployed.

The IRCC document — made public through an access to information request and shared with the Sun — states that Canada welcomed 46,321 refugees in 2016. This represents a 136% increase over the previous year.

The document includes a November 2016 impact evaluation of the Syrian refugee settlement program, based on a sample of recently-arrived Syrian refugees.

The survey found that 53% of privately sponsored Syrian refugees had been able to find work in Canada, compared to just 10% of government sponsored refugees.

That means that nine in 10 Syrian refugees sponsored by the Trudeau government are unemployed.

This makes them ideal Liberal Party Members

What do you want to be they’re being “settled” in swing ridings?

  • irishrus

they shouldn’t have to wait too long for federal and provincial high paying union jobs
Don’t forget all your paraphilia when you show up for work

    • Alain

Speaking of union jobs the Alberta NDP government has allowed farm workers to unionise.

Those nine out of ten are doing more useful work than Justine does.

    • But he could teach drama!

      • Observer

He already is on those days when he actually shows up in the House of Commons.

      • BillyHW

What would we do without substitute drama teachers?

        • Editor

Teach math maybe? No, sorry, that would be patriarchal, right.

What does anyone expect when we’ve imported the third world, illiterate in their own language as well as in ours? And to celebrate 47% unemployment as “success” in the private sector of sponsorship is insane as well.

    • Editor

Bingo! Hard to find a job if you don’t speak either official language. And if you don’t fundamentally want a job anyway. Assistance should be directly tied to language course attendance and skills training.

      • Alain

As good Muslims they are entitled to full benefits just for being here.

  • Observer

And most of the 1 in 10 who are working are doing so for refugee and immigration organizations helping to bring in more.

    • Ottawa Eyes

To be fair, those number of unemployed refugees may be exaggerated by the multiple ID’s they often use for collecting government benefit payments.

      • Editor

        Ha!

  • DJ

Meanwhile the Libtarderals impose limits on private sponsorship, presumably because most private sponsorships are from Christian organizations who prioritize Christian refugees…the actual refugees (along with Yazidis). In the meantime the unemployed 90% can take their free time to learn that beating your wife with a hockey stick is not allowed in this country.

    • lolwut? (Deplorable Hoser)

That’s not entirely true, the majority of Muslims being imported into Canada and the USA are by churches.

Like the moron in the Vatican, they are under the bizarre belief that they can convert them.

Then of course the fact that Muslims are coached to pretend to be Christians
to get accepted easier. The Quran specifically allows hiding your true religion
      to deceive Kafirs

My wife is at some kind of immigrant facility in Toronto today.

She sent me a photo of the toilet instructions including “please flush” and a “no squat” on the toilet image.

These are just the kind of high tech workers Canada needs.

    • Observer

      Please post the picture.

Do they also give advice like don’t spit or fling excrement at the workers?

    • lolwut? (Deplorable Hoser)

I had to show an African guy how to use a screw driver while I was working at Sears years ago.

He now works at a court translator for criminals being imported from his country.

He managed to squeeze into the country because he spoke English and a bit of French.

So sad. I had dinner with some Turdo Lovers the other day. All I could say was he has terrific hair AND he’s a snowboard instructor.

Didn’t want to tell them I wished that Turdo’s grandfather had pulled out.

        • A Hamilton Guy

          I’da told ’em!

          • Clink9

They were feeding me steak! I’m a pussy with them. But I got a few little shots in here and there.

        • Maggat

I liked that one. Just to think of where Canada would be today if in fact Turdeau’s grand parents practiced birth control.

  • But thanks to Hussein, they can still vote, right?

    • Liberal Progressive

Who cares as long as they vote Liberal!

      • Bingo.

Make sure those un-assimilated immigrants are good and legal before 2019.

  • HalcyonDaze

Maybe, they’re expectations are to fekin high. I watched the news one night a few months ago and they were touting a job fair for Muslims in Victoria BC. It was hilarious. One guy wanted to be an actor but had no experience, another claimed he was an electrician but couldn’t get a job, (gee I wonder why, have you ever seen the electrical grid in Syria?) This type of dialogue went on for a couple of minutes but the point that came out of the whole piece was that these people had expectations well above their pay grade.

Oddly enough I went into a Spinners one day a few months ago and the sales person was a “new Canadian” who, without a doubt provided the best service I have ever had in any store since the Millennial generation started standing around retail stores empty headed while gazing blankly at their electronic devices, instead working.

  • lolwut? (Deplorable Hoser)

I’m willing to bet that a majority of those jobs are nothing more then make work projects to show off on CBC.

    • John Boy

Probably mostly government translator jobs which wouldn’t be needed if we weren’t importing so many non-English and non-French speakers who plan to live their loves off of government handouts.

      • lolwut? (Deplorable Hoser)

Translator jobs in courts is in high demand now that the flood gates are wide open.

In Vancouver a lot of cases get tossed out because of a shortage
of people who speak obscure African languages.

All you need to do is pretend you can’t speak English and you get off.
