The plot against democracy

Here’s the good news.

It’s 2017 and Republicans control the White House, the Senate, the House and more statewide offices than you can shake a big bundle of fake news papers at. And, potentially soon, a Supreme Court that takes its guidelines from the Constitution not Das Kapital and the National Social Justice Party.

Here’s the bad news, Republicans are still Republicans.

Exactly ! Politicians acting like politicians, protecting their own cozy jobs/contacts/future $$$ rather than thinking of the country ! Repubs are no better than Dems….they talk a good game, but that’s as far as it goes.

We need STATESMEN…….not Politicians who are always looking at the next election as a reason not to actually get anything done !

The Repubs had seven years to get a “Health Plan” written …..and now complain that they can’t ‘finish’ even a draft before they go on ‘summer break’……a POX on all of their houses. DC/coastal minding-numbing arrogance .

Trump may or may not be a statesman, but he is definitely not a politician and now he finds that bringing Congress together on his agenda is like herding cats.
