Muslims plotted attack at London tourist attraction or Government building

Two terror suspects accused of plotting a car and knife attack face trial at the Old Bailey in January.

Umar Ahmed Haque and Abuthaher Mamun, from east London, were arrested as part of an investigation by MI5 and the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command on May 17.

They were allegedly planning to use a vehicle in a terror attack. Haque is accused of having a list of possible targets in the capital, including major tourist attractions and government buildings.
