Prof: ‘stress’ of Trump election will change human evolution

“We’re finding more and more that, for instance, people who have gone through combat, or women who have been abused—when you have these horrendous episodes in life, it causes permanent change, which is then passed on to your kid,” Ward began, then suggesting that Trump’s election could have similar effects.

Poor co-ordination and communication hindered battle with Fort McMurray wildfire, says leaked report

Last year’s massive Fort McMurray wildfire caught officials off guard, and the resulting battle to save the city was disorganized because regional and provincial authorities failed to share information in the earliest, most critical days, according to a report obtained by CBC News.

The report — submitted to the government in March but not yet released to the public — included a dire warning: unless Alberta learns to be better prepared and more wildfire resilient, the public “can expect similar or worse outcomes on a more frequent basis.”

Climate craziness of the week: climate change likely to induce food violence

While climate change is expected to lead to more violence related to food scarcity, new research suggests that the strength of a country’s government plays a vital role in preventing uprisings.

“A capable government is even more important to keeping the peace than good weather,” said Bear Braumoeller, co-author of the study and associate professor of political science at The Ohio State University.

While there are several good, low cost encrypted email services available, these are two have all the basic services you need for free, with additional paid or premium features. I’ve used both services for some months now and haven’t had any issues with either of them. They are both good, and I’ve outlined the basics of each service below.

London Bridge jihadis had tried to hire a bigger 7.5 tonne truck but their payment was declined.

$150 million to foreign women policy aid?!! How many Canadians authorized that!

I can only speak for myself, and I certainly didn’t. Justin is just being gratuitously virtuous. What Canada needs is an Austerity Party because the other ones don’t understand the mess they are making.

So apparently Al Gore is hearing voices in his head. The media is reporting that God told him to fight global warming. Oooooookay.

And now the stories from the proud leader of fake news in Canada, the Saturday Toronto Star. Lots of stories and pictures that Wynne is wonderful. Star is excited that Trudeau is going to commit 95 per cent of international aid to feminist issues and killing lots of babies. Communist Naomi Klein has a large feature story promoting her book that Trump is Hitler, and only communism is the answer. For some reason she doesn’t mention her favorite country in South America. She is wonderful. Carefully chosen letters to the editor that we must stop killing terrorists, and talk to them. And Heather Mallick says terrorism has nothing to do with islam, its all the fault of men. Men are basically evil. And men are just as bad in the Christian faith as in islam. Why she states that she is afraid of venturing into rural Ontario, in case she gets beaten or raped by men in baseball caps and white t-shirts. I will have to send a letter to her, assuring her, that if she ever comes into my part of rural Ontario, the last thing on my mind will be raping her.

Just because foreign leaders say the money will be directed to women to get it from Canadian tax payers doesn’t mean it won’t go towards building or improving their palaces.

NATO’s secretary general hopes to see more of Canada following defence plan.

This is rich. Canada has contributed more to NATO in the last twenty years than any European country.

    • andycanuck

Yeah that “increase presence on missions” is out there. I don’t know of any Nato mission (even crap ones like Libya) that Canada hasn’t committed troops to including the hot sectors in Afghanistan (contrasted with military spending) that everyone else except the Anglosphere and the Dutch avoided.

So if that proff is correct and stress makes defects in genetics then we should block refugees from war torn countries from bringing defective genetics into our gene pool.
