Tax Freedom Day … this year, one day later

This year Canadians are working just a little bit longer to pay off their taxes. Tax Freedom Day falls day later than it did in 2016.

The national tax burden has gone up, according to the Fraser Institute.

    ..anyone else notice that the rate seems to have stalled out and levelled off in the last few years? I’d like to see a graph of the last ten. I think they’re cooking the books.

      I bet they are not counting somethings as taxes. That’s not a tax it’s a ‘service fee’, or an ‘administrative add on’

    The levels of taxation Canadian’s pay is theft. Trudeau’s liberals want to take all we earn and give us a stipend to survive on.
