    Cant they both lose?

    • I wish.

      • Jabberwokk

May and the general cowardice of the Tories has cost them.

Without a majority that means no Brexit, more attacks on freedom of speech, and more terror attacks.

If Trump F$^%s up in the US the whole world is headed for dark days.

        • I trust Trump. I never trusted May.

          • Jabberwokk

            I don’t trust either.

As things are looking we will see PM Corbyn.

          • Still early, but UKIP is dead.

          • Jabberwokk

The irony being they reject UKIP because it might be racist and full of nazi’s and turn to someone who is ideologically aligned with the foundation tenants of mein kampf .

          • May is to Blame, no one elected her to lead.

          • Jabberwokk

The voters are to blame. They keep falling for this disease. May has her share for certain but corbyn could not have gotten this far if not for a morally weak and passive populance and you know it.

          • I am dumbfounded at the the results so far but then again the Conservatives do not speak for the Ukip voters.

          • Jabberwokk

Conservatives who only conserve their own best interest that is. I’m talking with MY uncle in the UK and is asking if we had room here in Canada. I said sure but it ain’t that much brighter here at the moment.

          • Not for awhile. The new forecast has increased the Tory seat count to 322 from 314 still short of 326 needed for a majority. Still a hung parliament.

          • Jabberwokk

If they get a majority they should consider it mercy. And May better take a good hard long look in the mirror.

            God….I need a timmies brb.

          • Heh;)

          • Alain

If that happens they need to replace May as leader.

          • andycanuck

They should be able to swing a coalition with the Orangemen then to keep the government but I guess we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to know properly.

          • Alain

After our last federal election and the election in France, I am beyond dumbfounded.

          • They will soon announce a revised forecast based on the actual results to date as opposed to the exit poll.

          • Alain

While I agree in general without knowing how many of those voters are actual Britains versus how many are “ethnic” and of the “ethnic” how many are Muslim. The present and previous mayor of London is a prime example of how this plays out.

          • Alain

True, but then the blame falls on the Tories for choosing her as leader.

          • Farage is saying he will have no choice but to jump back in if Corbyn is elected

          • Jabberwokk

Thank God. He should never had left. You can’t trust anyone.

          • Cons just lost Battersea to Labour.

          • Alain

Yes, that is the accomplishment of the hard-Left and the MSM. You can always count on them to lie and to keep lying in order to smear any party or politician that puts patriotism and the citizens first.

          • Alain

That is the height of stupidity in my view: swinging to the total opposite.

        • mauser 98

Trump may/ will be sabotaged , scuttled etc
media , GOP , probably half of White House have knives out for him

Like it or not if he goes down i think we all go down with him.

    • Everybody can lose!

        That’s the spirit ‘Mamba!

  • Brett_McS

    Jacob Rees-Mogg for PM!

  • Couper

May was an idiot for calling this election. Her assumption that she would easily win proves that she is not in reality. I do believe that if the British people chose Corbyn, they will live to regret it.

    • Brett_McS

It wasn’t calling the election as such, it was her assumption that she would easily win – which came through loud and clear to the electorate – that was the problem.

      • dance…dancetotheradio

She didn’t need a new mandate.
The referendum was decided and Cameron fell on his sword.
She had the mandate to Brexit.

  • Marius K

Once they were an empire. Who knew?

    • It’s been downhill since WW I

      • Alain

Indeed puppy love of socialism/communism developed into a full-grown love affair.

        • Clausewitz

Never trusted the Brits after they turfed Churchill at the end of WWII. They get what they deserve.

    • Alain

Yes, and once men were men. Just saying…..

Here is the line-up of candidates for Theresa May’s seat, waiting for the vote count results:

To me the London stabbings were a factor. The deplorables have had enough of the establishment. I bet the conservatives will pick a leader who at least can hear the deplorables’ exasperation

    • They had better, but it makes no sense that many went Labour.

  • Slightly revised forecast 318 for Conservative 267 for Labour. Still not the 326 needed for a majority.

  • The Cons just lost Canterbury, a seat they’ve held since WW I

    • andycanuck

      Holy shit!

    • LairdKintyre

It would be interesting to put the election results next to a population density of muslims. We all know what party the Muslims voted for. The party with high talk of advancemnt

      • LairdKintyre

The party giving away the freebies.

  • Martin B

Remember how happy we all were about Brexit? Looks like it was all for naught.

  • El Martyachi

Why isn’t there a Sharia Party yet?

    • Brett_McS

That’s the Labour Party …. and the Tory Party …

    • LairdKintyre

No Sharia Party. I seriously doubt there ever shall be one. King Arthur wouldn’t allow it. He waits. He watches

  • Gary

Watch her blame the downfall on the Russians.

  • Clausewitz

She Petersoned herself. That lead to four years of Bob Rae which finally woke up the electorate that then rescued us with Harris.

  • Brett_McS

The crazy thing is that support for Brexit among the general public is higher than ever, as the various dire predictions of remoaners have proved false again and again, with only 22% supporting remain now. So May had plenty of backing from her own public for Brexit negotiations without any need for this stupid early election. Now Brexit is toast because of it.

  • The Deplorable Rosenmops

At least that stupid Scottish party got crushed. Maybe the Conservatives will replace May and call another election.

  • Establishment conservatives everywhere don’t seem to realize that the establishment is never coming back. Those days are gone forever — we’re living in a new political era. The Left opposition today is much more sophisticated, much more subversive and deceptive and they don’t play by the traditional rules anymore. The tools in the old establishment conservative toolbox don’t work anymore.

Hence, Trump. But for some strange reason conservatives seem to have not noticed the phenomenon. Which is a big mistake — it is likely a once only opportunity. And the Left knows that — all they have to do is bide their time until Trump is gone (if they don’t impeach him first), and just pick up where they left off with the imposition of unelected Global governance under the absolute control of the Left.

  • LairdKintyre

Even with a Fifth Column of some five million, the Muslims couldn’t stop a Conservative Woman from winning the election. Their numbers count for nothong. Britain prevails. Britain remains the one gleaming hope for Western Europe. I see an Anglo American alliance coming that will save the world from an immigrant and Muslim disaster.

  • Barrington Minge

The saddest thing of all is that 40% of the electorate voted for an unreconstructed, Marxist party led by economic and political incompetants…what is going on!!!
