Muslim Groups ‘Undermining Fight Against Terror’, Leading Prosecutor Warns

“Islamist” Muslim groups and community leaders hinder the fight against terror and are interested only in presenting Muslims “as victims” Britain’s most prominent Muslim lawyer has said.

In an interview with the Times, Nazir Afzal warned that British Muslim organisations are “undermining” attempts to counter terrorism in the UK by spreading misinformation to discredit Prevent, the government’s anti-radicalisation programme.

‘It’s a bit of a blur’: What led the B.C. Greens to pick the NDP

As Andrew Weaver was engulfed by reporters in the early hours of May 10, just a few hours after the recent B.C. election, it was clear to him his job was far from over.

The Green Party leader tried to answer questions as he walked off the stage, while knowing what awaited him would be some of the most crucial negotiations this province has ever seen.

Mother Jones Celebrates Violent Leftist Groups

A column in May/June issue of Mother Jones celebrates the rise of fringe leftist groups ready to take part in everything from nonviolent resistance to armed revolt.

Some of the groups have risen to fight the media-created caricatures of Trump supporters. These caricatures include “white nationalists, neo-Nazis, and Klansmen.”

According to Mother Jones, the leftist groups include the Bastards Motorcycle Club, By Any Means Necessary, Redneck Revolt, and the Huey P. Newton Gun Club.

I’ve seen these people handle firearms. Not worried.

Stephen Hawking announces he is voting Labour: ‘The Tories would be a disaster’

The Conservatives would be a “disaster” for public services, the world-renowned astrophysicist said.

“I’m voting Labour because another five years of Conservative government would be a disaster for the NHS, the police and other public services,” he said, after a meeting with Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner.

Leftism: An Incurable Disease

Call it Global Stockholm Syndrome, Mass Psychogenic Illness, or the Leftist Plague, as it will be called, in a hundred years, by grandparents who are explaining to their grandchildren the demise of Western civilization. The disease that leaves the sufferer with not an ounce of critical thinking ability — and, yes, leftism is a disease, one that is airborne, one that is spreading rapidly, and one that, sadly, there is no cure for.

Jordan Peterson: OISE is perhaps the most dangerous institution in Canada and should be defunded

I’ve been writing about the neo-Marxist cesspool, The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, for quite some time.

UK jihad candidate Jeremy Corbyn wants Jihadis FREE to go to Syria and return to UK

The two choices the Brits have before on Thursday are a coward (May) and an accomplice (to jihad – Corbyn).

DHS Officers Humiliate Judges by Enforcing Immigration Laws, Declares Judge

The judge’s cry of outrage came when he could not block the orderly repatriation of an illegal immigrant who has two drunk driving convictions, plus a U.S. wife and three children.

“We are unable to prevent [Andres] Magana Ortiz’s removal, yet it is contrary to the values of this nation and its legal system,” complained Judge Stephen Reinhardt, who wishes to extend citizens’ rights to illegal foreign migrants.

Europe is Screwed

A couple of days ago, I posted on my Facebook account that Europe is screwed. Why? When a multiculturally brainwashed citizenry elect an avowed Muslim follower and sympathizer as mayor of their largest city; approve national politicians who are more supportive of climate change and political correctness than stopping people hellbent on wiping out your culture to freely cross your borders; accept disarming citizens to legally carry firearms to defend themselves; and believe that hashtags, national flags, and smiley emojis will defend you against ideological thugs that you’ve allowed to invade your country, you are screwed. When innocent people get slaughtered in your streets, over and over again, your society has sunk to the level of politically correct insanity.

Canadians Are Ready To Take The Electric Vehicle Plunge

Imagine walking into a car dealership. You ask to test drive a new, gasoline-powered SUV. The dealer replies, “sure, but we don’t have any. It will take four weeks to get here, it won’t be an SUV, and probably not the colour or trim you want. But this compact car is practically the same. Want to try that instead?”

This sums up the experience of most people who are thinking about buying an electric vehicle — no inventory, long wait lists, little variety and unenthused sales people who direct consumers back to a conventional car.

  • Barrington Minge

I see no real problem with these mooslim nutters going to join “ISIL”…as long as they are NEVER allowed back. Revoke passport and citizenship and good luck!!

Enforcing Immigration Laws: If Judge Stephen Reinhardt wants to make law, he should step down from the bench and run for political office.

Stephen Hawking: A celebrity astrophysicist running the economy?. What is needed is down-to-earth thinking.

    • canminuteman

He’s not very bright for a genius. This is why we are screwed, even the supposedly really smart people can’t see through the bullshit. Of course it doesn’t help that the opposition is no great hell either.

      • tom_billesley

He was also used in the referendum campaign to remain in the EU.

      • shasta

“smart people can’t see through the bullshit”

A common problem; but not quite as common as stupid people not seeing through bullshit. A general human failing in critical thinking perhaps?

The Toronto Star has a story, where the publisher argues that the Star should get federal money to support its operations. It sort of makes sense, since they are the official print organ of the Liberal Party anyway. This would blend in nicely with their former Star executives already getting plum diplomatic posts.

Still word from the CBC on the muslim woman waving a knife in support of ISIS in Toronto. I’m glad the CBC protects us from that Islamophobia nonsense. They are excited that our little prince had lunch with Obama. Yes, little Justin wasted no time getting out of boring Ottawa to sit down for a chat and tax payer funded lunch in Montreal. They were both so cool and wonderful dressed in casual attire. The media was overjoyed.

    • reidjr

Funny thing being from Montreal as PM he has spent very little time there.

      • Justin St.Denis

The Quebecois quite literally hate Justin T. Les Quebecoises are less motivated by auburn tresses than Anglo-Canadian women, at the very least.

    • ontario john

Should say, still no word from the CBC. I need another coffee.

  • Jordan Peterson is an answer to my prayers.

    • Justin St.Denis

Jordan Peterson is brilliant. I would vote for the man in a heartbeat if only because I am certain he is actually sane. I can’t say that about many people in the media spotlight these days.

      • PaulW

Not only is he sane and clear-sighted, he seems to have a knack for explaining quite difficult ideas and concepts in a simple and straightforward way. His students are fortunate indeed.

In other news, Barak Obama was in Montréal yesterday and every liberal in the city was in a state of rapture.

Local radio reported that he was paid just over 400,000$ for the 45 min. appearance (so roughly 10,000$ a minute) and that he spoke about income inequality…

    • These people are as predictable as the law of gravity. That’s why if conservatives and libertarians really decide to defeat this fascist-Marxist movement, it would be as easy as pie. They’re like robots programmed to do one thing and one thing only.

Hence, we always know their next move, and what their reaction would be to any given scenario. All it would take is for conservatives to open their eyes.

On electric cars – I have talked to several businesses about the free charging stations they have installed to attract customers. One business said in 2 years of having one it has been used once by someone who didn’t even shop their they pulled off the highway to use the free charging station and left a few hours later.

The second business (not a retail business) big fanfare of replacing 7 parking spots in their visitor lot with charging stations and 6 of them are always empty and the 7th has the big executives company provided electric car. So they ditched 7 spots in the visitor lot for a PR stunt that never is used except by the guy who came up with the idea.

I ask what happens if electric cars become more common? Do you think all those businesses will still provide free electric car charging? If they were used frequently how would the business recoup the cost of electrical usage?

    • Forget electric charging stations, especially in Canada. In the Canadian North they often don’t even have plug-ins for electric block heaters at many places. In -40 below weather it’s next to impossible to start your car without a block heater — motor oil and tranny fluid become as thick as honey.

      • Exile1981

A lot of the electric cars don’t do well in Canada in the winter because they have to use battery power to keep the batteries warm, otherwise they freeze and are ruined.

        • Makes sense. I don’t know what electric car batteries contain, but I was surprised to discover — when I moved North for a couple years — that sulfuric acid (regular battery acid) can freeze there in the winter.

          • Exile1981

Depends on the electric car, some use normal high discharge acid batteries and the $$$$ ones use lithium batteries, which still have to be kept warm to prevent loss of capacity.

        • shasta

Always remember to drain the oil and take it and your battery into your cabin or tent if you are going to be parked for more than a couple hours.
