Australian PM says Melbourne siege ‘a terrorist attack’

Senior officials confirmed that Khayre had been acquitted of a plot to attack a Sydney army base in 2009 and was on parole for a violent home invasion at the time of Monday’s siege.

    Once again courts are responsible. I cannot repeat enough how ridiculous it is to try these enemy combatants in a regular criminal court, but every country in the West following this insanity. Furthermore it should be the military dealing with them and not regular cops.
