      yes indeed the closer North America comes to energy independence ,the less ipec and its collection of perfumed goat abusers will be able to dictate. two worries though; the vast investment in manufacturing and communications the desert brigands have made and the continued foreign funding of rent a crowd protests of any and all energy enabling infrastructure through out North America.
