Liberals Outraged, Demand Termination After Bill Maher Says “I’m A House Ni**er”

DeRay McKesson, a Black Lives Matter activist and former Baltimore mayoral candidate, led the criticism on social media. “Bill Maher has got to go,” he wrote. “There are no explanations that make this acceptable” He added “And why does the audience think it was OK to laugh? And Ben Sasse doesn’t even flinch. What is happening in the world?”

Maybe we take that word in stride because rappers mouth it with abandon without a peep from any professional racial gatekeepers.

Faux outrage. So much of the commentary shows the real story; they are just looking for a reason to get him dumped since he won’t get in line as far as Islam goes and they think this might be the opportunity.

    Strange fruit cocktail anyone?

Apparently, the only whitey who can say ‘nigger’ and get away with is Tarantino:

“why does the audience think it was OK to laugh?”
    Because it was funny, stupid.
You don’t know any more what humor is, right?

Perhaps it was funny to Bill Maher’s fans, but not to the rest of us. I am not offended by Maher’s speech or his (predictable) attempt at self-aggrandizement by his casual use of “the N word”, but let us not gild the lily. It was not funny except to Maher’s fartcatchers. I must admit that I am enjoying watching progressives turn on one another. It feels so much like winning.

I am not a Maher fan, nor a progressive, and I found it funny. People react to jokes differently, and judging others because they don’t share somebody’s specific definition of “funny” is close to the peremptory and judgmental way Leftists are rightly criticized for.
It was just a joke, for God’s sake.
