Gitmo inmate released under Obama arrested in France recruiting for ISIS

A former Guantanamo Bay inmate is among six people from an alleged Isis recruiting network who have been detained in France.

Among the suspects arrested was Sabir Mahfouz Lahmar, who was freed from the US detention centre in Cuba in 2009 after France agreed to accept him, said a judicial official.

Firing squad might be a good start.

The French may have to bring back the guillotine. They might even use it on those responsible for admitting him into La Patrie.

A trial for treason is definitely warranted. France is at war with ISIS; ISIS statements even single out the “filthy French” for special terrorist attention.

Recruiting for an enemy during wartime is surely grounds for conviction for treason in any sane nation-state. And, yes, the firing squad or guillotine should be the punishment if found guilty. France needs to find the will to re-instate capital punishment for the crime of treason.

Hey French Progressives: all the inmates of Guantanamo were not innocent men unjustly accused and not allowed to receive a fair trial or release. Glad to see you finally discovered this even if it took 8 years.
