Will This Be The Week That Was for the Fox News Channel?

The week ahead promises to be a critical one for the future of the wounded and limping Fox News Channel (FNC). Knocked off its perch in early May as the longstanding number one cable television news outlet, FNC is now contending with an uncertain future. Declining ratings, internal conflicts and poor programming decisions, and new controversies have helped to energize a determined outside viral de facto “resist Fox News” campaign with the purpose of taking the channel down.

The viewers leaving Fox News aren’t going to other cable outlets. They are cutting the cord. TV is a dying medium.

But I don’t understand why total crap stations like CNN and MSNBC seem to picking up viewers. Why are people watching their shite? It worries me.

Lefties need their two minutes hate now that Trump is President.
It’s a reason why Fox was popular during Obama.

Youtubers like Steven Crowder, Stefan Molyneux, etc. all have numbers that are similar to the average cable news show.

The unfortunate part is that Youtube would rather promote standard TV fare over the individual YouTubers that provide content that is often controversial.

It’s easy to run a network when you are the sons of the owner.

    Fire stars. Watch ratings tank.

Looks like they’re pulling a full on CFRB. RB for decades was the number one radio station in not only Toronto, but in Canada. Then someone made the decision to can the majority of conservative voices, and replace them with whiny SJW’s. It’s been a steady decline ever since.

I briefly subscribed to Fox to get Sun News.
Watching Fox, I found that they weren’t nearly as conservative as I thought they were.

        • Tom Forsythe

The never portrayed themselves as conservative, just fair and balanced.

Demonized by everyone on the left for saying half rational things.

Curiously missing… Fox telling its base to fuck off. It’s almost as if being NeverTrump has consequences like not believing anything at American Thinker now.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

I still read American Thinker but I am finding it more necessary to pick and choose. HeatSt, Daily Caller, Hot Air, NRO and American Spectator play the same game.
There are fewer and fewer places I care to visit since they are conservative but consistently denigrate President Trump or damn him with faint praise.

It would be a loss for Fox and for the advertisers because none of the other have any sustainable market size even if they start having public executions of white men on air. Cable news is going the way of the dodo bird.

“The Soros-Brock Media Matters (MM) blog launched a full-scale campaign against Hannity, even publishing the names of all his advertisers”

I’ve never met a 2nd Generation business man that I truly could respect. They tend to be overly opinionated into their sense of self worth, and just plain assholes in general.
