After Manchester: it’s time for anger

After the terror, the platitudes. And the hashtags. And the candlelit vigils. And they always have the same message: ‘Be unified. Feel love. Don’t give in to hate.’ The banalities roll off the national tongue. Vapidity abounds. A shallow fetishisation of ‘togetherness’ takes the place of any articulation of what we should be together for – and against. And so it has been after the barbarism in Manchester. In response to the deaths of more than 20 people at an Ariana Grande gig, in response to the massacre of children enjoying pop music, people effectively say: ‘All you need is love.’ The disparity between these horrors and our response to them, between what happened and what we say, is vast.

This has to change.

It is becoming clear that the top-down promotion of a hollow ‘togetherness’ in response to terrorism is about cultivating passivity. It is about suppressing strong public feeling. It’s about reducing us to a line of mourners whose only job is to weep for our fellow citizens, not ask why they died, or rage against their dying.

We need to oust the political class responsible, halt Muslim immigration and conduct deportations at any sign of terrorist activity. Not just a few, but a few thousand at a time. That will send the message.

  • Good article by Spiked. And good comment by BCF: “We need to oust the political class responsible, halt Muslim immigration and conduct deportations at any sign of terrorist activity. Not just a few, but a few thousand at a time. That will send the message.”

    • k2

The message being something like “This is not the kind of society that we wish to live in; we will not tolerate it.” Failure to act, from apathy or fear or for whatever reason, amounts to condoning our politicians’ actions with regard to mass Muslim immigration and multiculturalism.

    • Linda1000

      Ditto for Canada.

  • richard

Again, after such an atrocity in the name of Allah, no round of condemnation from the Muslim community. This can only be interpreted as tacit complicity.

  • Jabberwokk

Why is there no coverage of the terrorist attack in Marawi, Philippines?

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Too much coverage of muzzie atrocities could hamper efforts to stir up passivity.

    • Watchman

Same reason that you see headlines like “Killer Earthquake in Peru: One Briton Slightly Injured”
It’s a lot to do with distance both in miles and in family/tribe/cultural connections; the further away the less danger to ourselves and generally the fewer lessons to be learnt from this news.

  • Maurice Miner

Fucking Eloi – passive sheep who get led to their deaths by the Moorlocks without complaint or resistance. Social engineering has turned every Western society into Eloi!

    • Watchman

If we only had a time machine that could take us back in time so we could be in Mecca in A.D. 621, over a hundred million lives over the following 1400 years could have been saved by a judicious action.

      • Now it’s gonna take a lot of judicious action.

  • Marius K

To not put pressure on “civilian” population sympathizing with “combatants” is a tactical mistake.

  • ismiselemeas

Any psychiatrist will tell you that anger is normal and not to be ashamed of. It’s fucking psychotherapists who tell us that anger must be worked through and replaced with more positive emotions. Reason would have it that with all the recent atrocities the love generated as a result would eclipse the sun. So much love. It has done nothing. It’s as vapid and hollow as thoughts and prayers. If prayers actually worked none of this shit would be happening. It’s time for practical solutions. It’s time to go after the mosques. They’re the one constant in all of this. Start by eliminating tax breaks for religious institutions. Sorry Christians and Jews, it’s nothing personal but we have to root out the financiers, the money launderers, the bag men and the fake fronts. Get rid of the secondary level financing of NFP community activist groups, stop offshore aid grants to islamic organisations and countries and put iron clad accountability in place. These people cannot be trusted.

    • Alain

So because one pretend religion, Islam, is the problem all other religions are to treated in the same way. I disagree completely with that approach, especially since moral equivalency is a big problem.

    • I agree with Alain. Don’t blame all religions because of Islam. That is an error, both tactical and strategic. Marine Le Pen in France lost a lot of support when she railed against Jewish kippas in conjunction with the Islamic scarf. Focus on Islam, pinpoint the message.

      • ismiselemeas

I’m not. My neutral position is that no religion should have tax free status regardless. Islam exists in the west largely because of this glaring loophole. I honestly believe that if all religions were required to file and pay that 75% of the mosques that are currently registered would evaporate along with all their shake down side businesses in the industrial estates of every major city in the country. They’re not there because the real estate is cheap, they’re there to fly under the radar of Revenue Canada. Christian/Catholic and Jewish institutions will be fine, they’ll survive the pinch. The mosques are taking advantage of our laissez faire attitude to established religion.

      • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Absolutely. Islam is the problem. That must be driven home to the point where all but the dumbest, most brainwashed of the sheeple finally get it through their heads. Otherwise, we are hosed.

  • robins111

I see they shut down the comments on that article right sharpish

    • Tooth&Claw

      I wonder why?

  • Drunk_by_Noon

First they came for the Instagram flag filters…

Hey, anyone want to take bets on over and under odds on how long it will be before some asshat plays John Lennon’s “Imagine” dedicated to the innocent victims of Manchester?

    • Tooth&Claw

Spare me. Just another version of a Marxist utopia which never can exist.

        A really great video.

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

      Imagine there’s no muzzies …
What a nice world the rest of us could have.

  • Tooth&Claw

Good. Everyone should be angry enough to make cold deliberate calculations to eradicate this traitorous betrayal in our midst. Silence gives assent.
Islam and its followers want us dhimma or dead. They DO NOT CARE about the lives wasted, theirs or ours. We are selling them the ore to make blades to behead us.
They do not want a civil society, they do not want to live and let live.
They want you and yours buried in a mass graves upon the ruins of the civilization your forefathers fought to create.

  • lolwut? (Deplorable Hoser)

The picture is not from the concert, it’s from a training event.

Gavin posted something from the concert on his twitter.

  • There is a way to isolate those that do this by enforcing allegiance to OUR belief systems. Of course they’ll lie, but that’s a deportable offense.

No visa, no aid to countries that deny the First Amendment!

    CHPT 5 “First,the First” http://mcaf.ee/5gcu7j

    • Yes,, but the first amendment needs to be made to specify somehow that Islam is not a religion only, but a political ideology of conquest and domination.

No, I think the way is to make Islam illegal and demand that Muslims who continue to adhere to it to leave the country and go and do their thing elsewhere.

  • bargogx1

Now that’s the kind of statement we need more of!

  • marty_p

Time for a repeat – author posted under the pseudonym Sebastian Vilar Rodriguez and published in a Spanish newspaper on Jan. 15, 2008.

All European life died in Auschwitz:
I walked down the street in Barcelona , and suddenly discovered a terrible truth – Europe died in Auschwitz .. We killed six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims. In Auschwitz we burned a culture, thought, creativity, talent. We destroyed the chosen people, truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who changed the world.

The contribution of this people is felt in all areas of life: science, art, international trade, and above all, as the conscience of the world. These are the people we burned.

And under the pretense of tolerance, and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the disease of racism, we opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride.

They have blown up our trains and turned our beautiful Spanish cities into the third world, drowning in filth and crime.

Shut up in the apartments they receive free from the government, they plan the murder and destruction of their naive hosts.

And thus, in our misery, we have exchanged culture for fanatical hatred, creative skill for destructive skill, intelligence for backwardness and superstition.

We have exchanged the pursuit of peace of the Jews of Europe and their talent for a better future for their children, their determined clinging to life because life is holy, for those who pursue death, for people consumed by the desire for death for themselves and others, for our children and theirs.

What a terrible mistake was made by miserable Europe …

    • Watchman

      Hear, hear!

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

And our Quisling cuck of a so-called prime minister wants Canada to go down the same road as Europe is trodding. He’s going to burn in hell for this. That’s little Comfort however in the Here and Now.

    • Yes, I have always thought this too – that if not for Hitler’s Holocaust of the Jews, Europeans would not have allowed the current Muslim invasion and Islamization of Europe. Hitler’s action made it impossible for Europe to protect itself normally; Europe was filled with guilt and drew the wrong conclusions.

The solution of course is to make a clear distinction between the presence of Jews and other normal minorities, and the presence of Muslims, in Western countries. Muslims are carriers of Islam, a very dangerous and literally deadly mental virus that needs to be eradicated. That’s the difference. Islamophobia is not racism, it is perfectly healthy and wise.

Europe has truly hoisted herself on her own petard.

  • Barrington Minge

These mooslim killers are so brave!!! killing 8 year old girls must be such a turn on.
Filth. Beyond that words are not enough.

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Filth can be useful in growing things. Jihadis are not even so useful. Therefore, jihadis are worse than filth. imho
