Social Justice Warriors Claim CBC Scalp

CBC announces leadership changes at The National following ‘appropriation prize’ controversy

Honestly I think the CBC gets off on this sort of public self-flagellation, it’s feel good wankerism.

they miss the pain. Without Gnomeshi around to deliver firm yet loving spankings to the female staff they have to cast about for new sources of self depreciation

      good point.

At least they admit they’re storytelling. It’s certainly not fact and not news.
    FTA
Steve Ladurantaye will step away from the program’s redevelopment,
the public broadcaster announced Wednesday. Instead, Ladurantaye will
be meeting with Indigenous groups and other diverse communities across
Canada and then helping CBC News develop its storytelling strategies…

Why don’t you get a Black man to tell a Red man’s Story?

Those olde cartoons sure as hell were funny.
I think that they are funnier now.

They are a glimpse into the past, and not just about attitudes about Indians, but also a view on how Indians behaved.
They were known for their cruelty towards their dogs and animals in general, but also their sneaky and dishonorable ways.
If you get a chance, read Mark Twain’s thoughts on the American Indian. He knew several and had many encounters with them, and he does not wax poetic about the noble savage at all.
It’s fascinating reading and a clear window into the past that modern academics and “First Nations” race hustlers would rather you didn’t look into.

Do you mean Samuel Langhorne Clemens ?
He was as honest as he could be from his side of things–
        Until he got famous.
Then he tended to get a bit more flamboyant.

There was a story in the news the other week about some boys who threw a puppy in a fire for fun, and how it was rescued and was recovering. I thought to myself, in the most incorrect manner, that it had to be Indians. Shockingly, it turned out that I was right.

The State propaganda machine should b brought to it’s knees for not giving the Canadian public the truth about CRIME IN CANADA
Every vote Canadians have made has been on FALSE DATA!
Therefore every vote can be disregarded, and all decisions regarding Canada can be disregarded too
