Nephew of Quebec City mosque shooting victim charged with threatening alleged gunman and family

The 33-year-old nephew of one of the victims of January’s deadly mosque shooting in Quebec City was in court yesterday to face charges of uttering death threats against the alleged gunman and his family, Radio-Canada is reporting.

Mohamed-Amine Ben-Faras, who is being held in a Quebec City detention centre, appeared briefly via video-conference in a Quebec City court on Monday.

He is accused of threatening to kill or injure Alexandre Bissonnette and members of his family.

I didn’t hear any Muslim mention that .

Under sharia a muslim will be able to kill for revenge.

    • He’s doing what Islam decries.

Yes and that is hardly surprising. That the CBC reported this story is, to me, the surprising part.

This is still strange – thought would hear a lot more about the accused and his motives by now. Usually in a case like this, the police and courts are a sieve.

I agree, extremely strange. Not a word by the Liebral-snowflake media. All sorts of rumors on a homosexual relationship that the shooter had with a member of the Mosque. Remember the second shooter arrested by police and then suddenly released by the popo? Went totally under with in one day. WTF is going on? Justine please explain.

    …sounds like the start of a 500 year feud…

Or more like a 1,400 year old feud.

Let’s think about this for a moment.
If the survivors and family members of the victims of terrorism took revenge upon the family members of terrorists, then maybe we would have less terrorism or at least another possible deterrent.
I thought that the shooter was a convert.

This whole incident smells like a 6 day old fish laying in the sun… Where was the usual incessant whining about the AR 15 or the Mattel XCB super assault rifle, they’ve been strangely silent on the attack. I smell a rat..

  • (SEE: surprised, not at all)

The plot thickens. I feel the full story of this whole situation has yet to be revealed, and when it all finally comes out, there will be hell to pay.

Same as the shooting of those female students in Montreal, the same that was used as excuse to trample on law-abiding gun owners.
