Islamic leader living in hiding because he fears reprisals says halal-certification ‘threatens Australia’s way of life’ and is an insult to non-Muslims

An Islamic sheikh says halal-certification threatens the Australian way of life and is an insult to Christians at Easter.

Sheikh Mohammad Tawhidi, who is already facing death threats, has weighed into the debate about One Nation leader Pauline Hanson’s call for Australians to boycott Cadbury chocolates this Easter.

Living in hiding, the Shia imam from Adelaide told his Facebook followers the halal-certification of chocolates funded Muslim religious and business interests, like Islamic schools.

He’s right, Halal certified Easter Eggs!!!????

Easter Egg’s is pagan tradition that was incorporated into the Easter holiday centuries ago since it has nothing to do with the Crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In a way he is correct that other Muslims should agree with him (if he made this point in this way) is that putting Halal certification on a pagan tradition would taint the Halal certification. Since most Muslims don’t have the intellectual foresight into deducting that logic anyways Muslims will take the blasphemy route. After all why argue facts when you can simply silence people you disagree with. This situation would definitely apply to this video:

Pagan Easter existed before christian Easter and despite 2000 years of Christianity some pagan traditions have managed to survive. It’s pretty hard to get people to convert to your new religion if you do it by taking their holidays off them. This is why this Easter we have carried on with a tradition which is thousands of years old by celebrating spring with gifts of eggs and rabbits.

    • I think lines of consumer goods bearing “Christian” markings are a good idea.

How to shop groceries these days:
You go to the meat section. Pick up some pork. Then, when you get to the halal section, you leave it there. Move on.

    • Yup.

My wife cringes every time I stop at the meat section to “do the deed”.

It’s halal depending on how they kill the Easter Bunny.

Last year when cadbury chose to cater to the islamists in Canada and drop Easter from the east egg….i stopped buying their products and no longer buy the Halloween bonus boxes of bite size bars.
Muslims don’t care about Easter , why the hell make the eggs Halal .

here the Rebe l report on this insanity .

I do not buy anything for Christian holidays that doesn’t have the proper name on it and boycott any product that has put halal on anything. As far as I am concerned, anything halal has been offered to an idol and is not acceptable for consumption as a Christian at any time, holiday or not.
