Christie Blatchford: You think Pink Day is harmless until you raise your voice against it in the town square

If it’s tricky to see the connection between the International Day of Pink (It’s Time to Talk About Bullying, Homophobia, Transphobia) and what Eric Brazau was trying to say in court Thursday, it still feels as though there is one.

The Day of Pink was celebrated this week at, among other places, the Toronto District School Board, the biggest one in the country.

The people behind each of these “movements” are the ones trying to push our buttons.

So let me get this straight. Here in Sunny Ways Canada, you can’t say negative things about Islam in public, or you will be charged with promoting genocide. But you can preach in mosques to kill the filthy Jews and Christians, in the same city. Funny old world isn’t it.

      It’s Easter weekend.
I think I’m going to one of the Churches in town and ask for an open microphone.
If I get it then I am going to preach about killing about all the white people.
And then I’m going to drag myself home on stumps.
      No, no, I’m not.
But, there is an underestimated reserve.
One day we will have had enough of this bullshit.
      We are savage.
The lefties think these people are gnats.
      They aren’t.
      Hold my beer.

      • That day will come.

I don’t think so, mostly because of demographics. Insurrections are fought by young people. Young white people are largely done, at least in Trudeaupia.

          • Look to the Identitaire movements in Europe, hope is eternal;)

          • El Martyachi

Mostly because of demographics, but also somewhat about tradition. Most Canadian traditions have been eradicated. One that hasn’t is quelling insurrections with overwhelming force.

Stand in line behind the muslims invited to speak at ‘interfaith’ events. They almost certainly will give a standard muslim prayer that represents Jews as those who have angered Allah, and Christians who have been led astray from being muslims. A devout muslim will repeat this prayer 15 times a day – Qur’an 1:6-7.

    • Yes it is!

Just now, at the beer store, I had to wait in line with some pink-shirt spreader-earring skinnyfat millenial and his father. The father looked like a total wreck, understandably. And this was in the fuckin North End of Winnipeg!

    • Cripes, poor guy.

        Green Brier!
Do you work with a kid named ‘Kale’? I’d like to put a friendly scare into him (is cousin’s boyfriend).

      I have family in Brooklands.

        I’m sorry to hear that.

  • Pink shirts tend to get people beaten up. Teaching tae kwon do to people would be more effective but with fewer do-gooders. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/31c290095684be90d8cd99bf046b315e661d19d826db57d4e9ded0e7cea8f4a3.png

My wife gave me a pink t-shirt once.
I said I’m not wearing that.
      She said it’s salmon.
I said I love you babe but I’m not wearing a pink shirt.
Salmon, my ass, I said, you’re just trying to mark me so the other girls will leave me alone.

      • You may have to get her a screwdriver set and say that it is a set of special cooking utensils. 🙂

This is going to sound strange and I don’t care.
Always knew that I was going up north.
Insisted that she got a spare tire when she came up here two weeks ago.
She is the love of my life.
