Clemson U. Training Says Tardiness is ‘Cultural’ and Must Be Tolerated

Clemson University wants to promote tolerance and diversity and all the other progressive buzzwords that mean the exact opposite of progressives’ actual intentions. Nothing surprising there.

But what Clemson is now arguing for in the name of tolerance is just about the nastiest example of the “bigotry of low expectations” I’ve ever seen…

“Welfare check on time” is also a foolish obsession of the west…

There are other possible reasons for “tardiness”.

    Never heard of indian time?

Around here we call it Caribean time.

  • Clemson was one of our customers and I spent plenty of time on the campus. I’m pretty sure it’s located in the cultural US, where 9 means 9.

Tolerance for sloppiness is not meritorious.

Successful civilizations are meritocracies, in every instance.

I have a very well honed in bred sense of time, and there is nothing I hate more than people who don’t.

If you show up late for a meeting I am chairing, and ask for a repeat of what was discussed; I have a tendancy to say ,”show up sooner”.

At my firm with its ferocious drive to be diverse we have increasing numbers of men and women from non western countries in executive positions, we suffer from what I can only call third world arrogance. They can show up whenever they like if at all and when they do they demand to be catered to with their every question to catch them up. Africans and Indians are particularly guilty of this.

C’mon, cut the Africans some slack. They wuz Kangs!
