ISIS swoops after Donald Trump Syria missile strike with attack 20 miles away

It is believed the ISIS assault has not yet made any territorial gains, but the US offensive has provided an opportunity for the terror tyrants to keep pressure on Syrian forces and attack without risking retaliatory air strikes.

I didn’t mind Trump dropping some bombs on the genocidal dictator baby Assad. I do however not want him to change the balance of power. Isis or Assad, pick your poison. They’re both rotten.

Syria is one of the only two countries in the Middle East that protects their Christian citizens. Israel is the other.

Do you think that ISIS will protect them once Assad is gone? Or do you just not give a damn?

      • k1962

No, obviously ISIS won’t protect them. Do you think that Assad should be given a pass on gassing people as long as they aren’t Christians?

        • Mark Matis

I think that Assad will gas less people than ISIS. Or do you think those chemicals will magically disappear as soon as Assad is gone?

Against ISIS, the U.S. has 7,000 troops on the ground. Against Assad, two warships.

          • Mark Matis

The US ALLEGEDLY has those 7,000 troops against ISIS. If you bother to watch their actions, most of them are actually supporting ISIS against Assad. The “rebels” are nothing more than ISIS in slightly different costumes. Which is why most of ISIS weapons are from the West.

          • Norman_In_New_York

Most ISIS weapons from the West were scooped up when the Iraqi Army deserted the battlefield during the ISIS offensive that captured Mosul in 2014-15.

Like I said, both sides are poison. I don’t like either of them. I don’t think Trump should do anything militarily to change the balance of power there and it’s not even his job to police the world, but I don’t like seeing people die a slow agonizing death when there was no reason for it other than pure hatred. The Sunnis and the Shias are supremacists who are full of hatred, a curse on both of them.

I didn’t know there was only one airport in Syria, and that the Russians had left. Sad.

I was just thinking what a pile of horseshit that was after seeing the headline.

  • canminuteman

That was pretty foreseeable wasn’t it?
