US Customs Investigate Security Breach On United Airlines Plane At Pearson

CP24 is reporting this but details are sketchy, no violence involved. The plane was towed for examination.

Update: U. S. Customs and Border Protection says that a “mock improvised explosive device” was found during the inspection of a traveler’s suitcase at Pearson International Airport on Thursday, resulting in a Chicago-bound flight being held on the tarmac for more than four hours.

In a statement, U. S. Customs and Border Protection says the device was found during an inspection at the “Toronto Preclearance Facility” at the airport.

Yeah, I feel real safe with Justin “Jihad” Trudeau as our PM and airports throughout our country, especially Toronto and Montreal, just crawling with Muslim employees, many of whom are ISIS sympathizers.

    Ain’t multiculturalism grand? *sigh*

    • Justin is a security risk.

Man charged with mischief after U.S. customs says ‘mock IED’ found in suitcase.

Just a matter of time until a real one is found. Then we can all collectively thank Imam Trudeau.

          Trial run.

          • Etobicoke_Gladiator

Exactly what I told my barber this afternoon. Just a matter of when, not if… Thanks, Justin! (Well, at least it was found today, albeit a fake one. Plans are definitely in motion for something more sinister.)

They’re Dreamers™, dang it, and Dreamers™ can come, go, and do as they please.

CP24 says the plane is going to transit to a quarantined area, the passengers are going to disembark and grab their luggage, both will be searched – there was a mention of sniffer dogs by the pilot – they’ll have to clear Canadian Customs and then U.S. Customs should they wish to continue on the flight.

If a jihadi is involved he’ll breeze past Canadian Customs and then melt away into Mississauga to later vote for the Liberal Party of Canada.

    • … and then be an MP.

      • Etobicoke_Gladiator

…followed by the Order of Canada.

        • k1962

And sue the Canadian government for some perceived slight.

        • Does that even mean anything any more?

          • Etobicoke_Gladiator

I suppose there was a time when it was quite an achievement, but as with so many things in the day and age of Political Correctness (the semi-fascist reign of terror) I suspect it is not that meaningful.

          • It’s rather like Oscars in a way.

  • I’m sure this is nothing to worry about.

    • tom_billesley

      Just a dry run.

      • Waffle

Dry run or just a tad of street theatre to allay the islamaphobic fears of silly Canucks? Ham-fisted script cooked up by wanna-be fiction writer, Gerald Butts. See folks, nothing to worry about. We may have ISIS supporters working at our airports but hyper-alert secruity personnel are on the job and will inconvenience you and make your life miserable for as long as is necessary. Sunny ways, my friends, sunny, sunny ways.

      • That’s what I think.

They banned liquids due to a Mo plot to bring down a plane using liquid explosive.
They make many take off their shoes because of the shoe bomber.
They want to ban tablets and laptops due to Mo threats to bring down a plane using disguised electronic devices.
How come no underwear ban due to the “underwear bomber”?

  • Scaramouche

I wonder if the “mock IED” (heavens, what a phrase!) looked like a mock clock project.

  • Gary

He invented the Digital Clock and is going to MIT for a scholarship as a genuis just like little Ahmed Muhammad.
