In Canada, Where Muslims Are Few, Group Stirs Fear of Islamists

STONEHAM-ET-TEWKESBURY, Quebec — Patrick Beaudry, bejeweled, tattooed and bearded, lives on a remote wooded hillside in rural Quebec, worrying about living under Shariah law.

A year and a half ago, he huddled with two friends in a Quebec maple sugar shack, discussing how to stop the spread of what they call “invasive political Islam” in Canada. They formed a group called La Meute, or Wolfpack, created a Facebook page and invited like-minded people to join.

Within a month, they had 15,000 followers. Today, the number has surpassed 50,000, and the group is still attracting people. Now, Mr. Beaudry and his colleagues say they are shaping those followers into dues-paying members who will give the group financial muscle and, they hope, political clout.

Define “Few”.

So the idea seems to be that because he lives in a remote rural part of Quebec, he doesn’t have a clue about the topic. The fact is that he understands what is happening and the dire danger of it along with having more sense than the whole lot of the urban chattering class along with the politicians. Good to see such people still exist in Canada.

Any time you go to a relative’s place in the summertime you can count on talking about this sitting around a fire after dark.

I expect the group will be banned by Facebook just as soon as the Lying Jackal and Bernie catch wind of these Canadian haters.

    • Alain

They can also expect to have the Quebec establishment coming down on them, since they are bucking the narrative and the program.

  • k1962

They may be few in number right now, but their numbers in Canada are growing exponentially. They stick out like soar thumbs and I am seeing more and more like never before. Also, their clout is way out of proportion to their numbers i.e.. look at how many are MP’s. With them comes problems and Canadians are stupid for poo pooing the warnings.

I have not yet found a neighbour in my rural area who has not caught on. Big urban areas are a different story. We also know what damage and danger cougars and black bears represent; again something urbanites refuse to grasp. In short we tend to recognise danger when we see it, and we know from where our food comes and what is required to produce it.

I work in a large Ontario utility and the number of muslim engineers we have is massive. A few years ago there weren’t any. I can only assume that they went on a major diversity hiring binge over the last few years.

      • k1962

Yeah, after 911 someone somewhere thought if would be a good idea to take massive numbers of immigrants from the Muslim world. Nineteen Muslims murdered 3,000 Americans and some jackass or many of them decided that we needed more of them.

And we have such a jackass as our PM who is continuing the tradition and actually ramping it up.

Oops, looks like I’ve had to much to think.

I would think that if they want to have real influence at the federal level they must expand beyond Quebec.

I’m old stock British Canadian. I’d gladly stand with them in this. Some things are bigger than old rivalries. Charles Martel knew this truth at Tours. Same stakes, same situation. Same old common enemy. Charles Martel brought together rival French and German tribes and saves all Europe.

Can we vote them into power?

      They have my vote!

        Mine too.
Heck, I’d rather have them running Canada than the crop of traitorous swine we are currently saddled with.

I love how the NYTs disingenuously uses scare words to shape how you are supposed to think of this group.
Instead of fighting to preserve liberty, they are described as “scared”.
    Make lists, keep them updated.

The sword of the Plains of Abraham is long buried in my opinion. Speaking as a member of old stock British Canadian the Pure Wool French are my brothers in arms. Our mutual forefathers stood together everyone Canada needed us. We must stand together now.

Soon this group will have more supporters than the LPC. What you going to do, eh Trudeau? Arrest us all? I don’t know enough you Sir, but we still stand for Canada.
