I try not to play the bitter former partisan, I really do, but the recent Liberal budget and subsequent adventures in Parliamentary reform have produced some bile.
Before we begin, let’s take a jaunt down memory lane.
Justin Trudeau’s win was sparked by three differences with Stephen Harper’s status quo: modest deficits to boost the economy; more open and accountable government; and a more positive spirit.
Sure, there were other things people liked about Trudeau (pot! electoral reform!), but it was essentially the warmth and openness of Mr. Trudeau that was to be the tonic to Stephen Harper’s dour Canada.
A Muslim mother has shaved the head of her 14-year-old daughter in Bologna, Italy, on learning that the child was taking off her headscarf as soon as she would leave the house.
When the girl arrived to school bald on Thursday, her teachers inquired into what had happened, and when she told them, the school principal decided to inform the police, who took the girl into custody.
Charges of mistreatment and abuse have been brought against the girl’s parents, who are of Bangladeshi origin, and the case has been handed over to the local prosecutor of offenses involving minors, together with the cooperation of social services.
Hemmed in and closely watched by police, hundreds of Muslims unrolled rugs and prayed outdoors Friday in the busy streets of a Paris suburb to protest the closure of their prayer hall.
The show of strength by throngs of worshippers in Clichy highlighted a long-standing issue for France’s Muslim community, estimated at 5 million people: a shortage of mosques.
Such protests aren’t without risk of a backlash, especially in the politically heated atmosphere of France’s upcoming presidential election. Far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen has previously decried street prayers, part of her anti-immigrant, anti-Islam outlook.
A “bitter” Hillary Clinton dressed up like The Joker from Batman and whined about men oppressing her throughout her life at the Professional BusinessWomen of California conference on Tuesday.
Hillary Clinton – who together with her husband made over $240 million in the last 15 years – attacked a former managing partner at her law firm for asking her if she was going to return to work after having a baby, attacked NASA for failing to hire her as a teenager, and attacked another unnamed “Harvard professor” who allegedly told her they don’t need “more women” at their college.
A Drexel University professor tweeted that he was “trying not to vomit or yell about Mosul” after he watched a first-class passenger give up his seat for a uniformed soldier on an airplane.
Many on Twitter responded to the professor’s comments with anger and outrage.
George Ciccariello, associate professor of politics and global studies, posted the tweet Sunday on his private Twitter account. CNN obtained his tweet from a retweet someone else posted publicly on the social media platform.
Ciccariello responded to the reactions to his tweet in a Facebook statement, saying “my tweet has since been fed into and misrepresented by the outrage machine.”
The scalp of Judge Napolitano will forever be nailed to the wall of Fox News, setting an example of what happens when the establishment narrative about Russia and Trump is undermined. Napolitano was made into an example of what happens when the intelligence agencies are embarrassed.
We understand that journalists use intelligence officials as anonymous sources and therefore accommodate them. But when a commentator like Napolitano breaks the mold with information that embarrasses the intelligence community, he must be supported, not punished with a suspension. Otherwise, the notion of a free and independent press is a joke.
The bright orange bus criticises what it calls “gender ideology” with the words “you can’t change sex” and “it’s biology” on its side.
It is sponsored by conservative action groups the National Organization for Marriage, Citizen Go and the International Organization for the Family.
The organisers say it is aimed at promoting “the truth of gender” which they say is “determined by biology rather than by emotions and feelings”.
Far-right EDL and Britain First protesters are to be faced by anti-fascist groups at a demonstration planned in central London on Saturday, following the Westminster terror attack.
In a Facebook post, the London Anti-Fascist Network called on supporters to gather in Trafalgar Square at midday on 1 April, to “crush the fascists’ attempt to cynically grow off the death of ordinary Londoners”.
If the press treated Bill Clinton then the way they’re treating Trump now, given the actual crimes committed on behalf of Clinton by Taiwanese and Chinese nationals, reporters and editors and their allies would have called for Clinton to be encased in a tube and shot off in a rocket to Mars, never to return.
Muslims and Islamic extremists are arriving en masse in a continent that is collapsing demographically and culturally. And there are even important voices, such as that of French philosopher Michel Onfray, who are ready to capitulate and to renounce the Judeo-Christian civilization.
I am not. Europe should not be willing to surrender. Otherwise, nothing will stand on the road between one billion Muslims and their dream to build a caliphate in Europe. Our hedonists are not even willing to fight for an Iphone.
In a fundraising email on Friday, March 31, 2017, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the leader of the Liberal Party, urges Canadians to donate money “towards the future of our movement” in light of the economic achievements of the Liberal government based on its premise that “a strong economy starts with a strong middle class.”
Trudeau said that the early signs shows that government’s economic plan is working and Canadians are becoming more confident in the economy since the Liberal government introduced the new generous Canada Child Benefit.
And if things go south he can blame Trump.
